(MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Aurus Corporation (OTC: AURC) announced today that it had signed a letter of understanding with Russian based Zabaikalgeoprom to begin negotiations on the acquisition of mining properties in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts. According to the letter of understanding, AURUS will begin the pre due-diligence process on a select group of properties, mainly the Priargunsky, JSC, Sherlovogorsky and Salaiskiy properties.

(MARKET WIRE) -- 12/15/05 Aurus Corporation. (OTC: AURC) announced today that it had signed a letter of intent to acquire Russian-based Zabaikalgeoprom and its mining rights on several properties in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts.
According to the letter of Intent, Aurus and Zabaikalgeoprom will sign a definitive agreement on December 17, 2005, and expect to close the transaction by or before December 23, 2005. Aurus will immediately begin the due-diligence process on the mining rights of several properties including: Northern Ore Technologies, Gold of Siberia, Nerchinsk Gold Mining, Sherlovogorsky Mining, Amazarsky Mining, Priargunsky Industrial Mining, Salairskiy and Nerchinsk Pits.
These mining properties have total combined proven reserves of 5.2 million ounces of gold, 30 million ounces of silver, 65,468 tons of Tin, 336,965 tons of Zink, 79,203 tons of Lead and 17,730 tons of Copper.
It should be noted that specifically the properties of Priargunsky and Salairskiy have a total combined proven reserves of 3,073,949 ounces of Gold, whereby the Salairskiy has an average maintenance of 20-25 gram of Gold per ton.
"Zabaikalgeoprom is truly the find of the century, it has been under the radar of multinationals for many years. Dec.19-2005 News Aurus Signs Acquisition Agreement to Acquire Zabaikalgeoprom and Its Cumulative Mining Rights and Reserves of 5.2 Million Ounces of Gold
Aurus Corporation. (OTC: AURC) announced today that it has signed the acquisition agreement and acquires Russian based Zabaikalgeoprom and its mining rights on several producing properties in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts.
According to the acquisition agreement, Zabaikalgeoprom shareholders will receive a total of 68 million shares for their properties and mining rights, whereby the total issued and outstanding post closing will be 103 million shares. The companies expect to close the acquisition agreement by or before December 23, 2005.
According to a report prepared by RSM Top-Audit, the net present value of Aurus is expected to be $1.2 billion USD. RSM Top-Audit is the local affiliate to RSM International, the world's 6th largest Auditing firm. The RSM report was written when the price of gold was at $385 per ounce and the current price of gold is above $500 per ounce or 130% higher.
Aurus Corporation will place most emphasis on the properties of Priargunsky and Salairskiy, which has a total, combined proven reserves of 3,073,949 ounces of gold, whereby the Salairskiy property has an average maintenance of 20 -25 gram of gold per ton.

Aurus Corporation. (OTC: AURC) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Russian based Zabaikalgeoprom and its mining rights on several producing properties in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts.
Further to the closing of the share exchange agreement, Zabaikalgeoprom is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Aurus Corporation, and therefore the company now owns producing properties with proven reserves with a market value according to the London Metals Exchange of approximately $3.7 billion USD. The proven reserves are comprised of 5.2 million ounces of gold, 30 million ounces of silver, 65,468 tons of tin, 336,965 tons of zinc, 79,203 tons of lead and 17,730 tons of copper.
The company is currently in advanced discussions with several funds and strategic investors to finance the production increase, whereby Aurus Corporation expects to produce 12 tons or 384,000 ounces of gold annually or today's equivalent to over $250 million USD annually as well as produce many other precious metals.
The new investments will be targeted specifically at the Priargunsky and the Salairskiy properties where combined proven reserves are over 3 million ounces of gold.

Stong close on Friday at .085 x .095 with big buys coming in right before the bell. I'm holding my 500k shares and accumulating on all dips as this will be one of the best stocks of the year.Mark my words - 50 cents to dollars is not to far away. Check out AURC on Ihub for some great info.
