QTN Worldnews planetout update...5th clip now, and it seems that planetout is going to keep up with the monday-friday clips, so basically everyday there will be a different 10-20 minute news clip.

This news clip was from monday and has scott withers as lead anchor and steve kmetko and chris jones with stories. scott withers - lead anchor...hmmmm?

Also, the main shows of QTN still have yet to be updated from the first shows they showed a week ago. I would like to see planetout update these shows much more regularly like they do on the News.

Great partnership nonethless and with the large audience of planetout, this should hopefully land more carriers

Hey all you canadians, im headin up there soon for a christmas holiday. I will be staying up at our lake house up in haliburton so it better be cold enough for the lake to be frozen to play a little hockey and of course, get that snow up to at least 2 feet!

Anybody wants to come over, we normally bring a pump up and flood a rink size space on our lake and turn it into a big hockey game. Ya gotta love haliburton!

that is the big deal in my mind right now.

we are targeting 5 million Gay and Gay friendly contacts that are already paying for gay material. I see this as the largest target audience that we could ever get our message to.

this one is huge.

the Australia deal only has 50,000 subscribers is what i understand. there are 10 million people that could potentially buy the satellite dish but only 50,000 that actually have it.

now on the other side of the coin. Selectv could gain a lot of new subscribers if the word can be spread about this programming.

it will eventually pay off for us.

the Plantout deal though i think will give us a quicker response in that if only 10% of them wanted Q that would mean that 500,000 people would be looking to sign up. if they dont have it in their area, then the pressure on the carriers will be enormous, and should be sufficient to force the carrier to carry this channel.

the wick is lit and the barrel is in danger of exploding.

wooooo i can hear the bang now.

Yes! I used to write that Genuine Broadcasting "International" TV Networks do not trade for less than a dollar a share & you told me that should be changed to "Global"!

That was almost a year ago & it was due to a hint that something was happening in Austrailia. Imagine that. LOL!

I'm hanging in there Rod!

Truth! I was very pissed with Frank for allowing a resourseful poster here to break news of the additional 10 billion shares. I've been in his corner for two years now whenever people had negative stuff to say. I don't bash stocks if I'm unhappy with them. If I don't have anything good to say I don't write. I did confied in a couple people on this board & then just consentrated on making money elsewhere.

Yes the news is excellent but I badly want Frank to show his cards. I've made a mint elsewhere & in fact "elsewhere" is still racking up gains.

But I want to add one more huge buy here & waiting for Frank to simply publish that damn audit.

I still see a monster payoff here. But I just don't want to buy anymore QBID till Frank does the right thing! Anyway that's all the crying I'll do now.

Very best of luck to you! You're a class act!!!

I hear you Whiz.

we do miss hearing from you though.

hopefully he will show it soon.

i keep thinking to myself though that Frank is going to do exactly what he has to do to make this company proffitable. once that happens, it wont matter what is in that audit as it is old news.

once he gets the company into a proffit situation the pps will fall into place and show a proper valuation.

There is a reason why he is not showing it, and i feel that by showing it, he will hinder his plans

Hey all. Long time lurker, seldom poster. I was wondering if someone with some financial know how could give me some feedback on an idea about Qbid.

Would it be feasible for the company to take out a loan of $5-$10mil, using our current assets (Over $1bil right?) as collateral. Then use that money to buy back and retire shares (10-20billion*.0005). Now I am coming from limited financial knowledge. So before just saying, "That's stupid, no way!" Would you mind explaining why? Cause I got my 4.7mil shares on hold and I am tired of living in the desert! [Smile] Thanks.

Post #of 189908

Starting to get some renewed confidence in QBID again. I haven't been following as close but today's doubleheader got my attention.

I feel QTN is being just as aggressive as they can be to move their network to the top of the pecking order in GLBT viewing entertainment.

I know the O/S is swollen beyond recognition. Something keeps telling me that Frank will get this to a point where he can buy back chuncks of the O/S until it disapppears.

I can see this audit thing dragging out until mid 2006. If we do get an audit....it will be so out of date people will be really mad. My thought is as long as a value can't be placed on QBID and O/S is swollen....we'll stay at a very low pps. If Frank gets QTN to where it is raking in monthly revs that are huge....he'll be buying back without PR'ing it. Then...whamo... he puts out a PR stating the O/S is 5 billion shares an all the naysayers will be standing empty handed.

Of course on the other hand.....we might be empty handed if none of this pans out. LOL.

i think the ole CEO has a plan and ain't about to tell anyone what it is. LOL

DrSilk..

I think you have something there.

There are a few things we must all admit.

1: The network is real and it has a real product.

2: Frank has sold a load of shares to fund it.

3: Frank wants to sell it at some point and make money from it.

ok lets look at these things. #1 is plain to see. #2 is also a done deal. now #3 For frank to make money he had to sell shares to build this thing. Now once its all built its worthless because of the huge number of shares. He needs to reduce the count. RS sucks. I don't think he wants that route. His only answer is a buyback. If #1 is true and doing really well (lots of carriers and subs) Then the PPS would go up too high to buy shares back considering the huge number out there.
He has to keep the PPS down as long as he can. The network must be fully built and making some serious income but have a very low PPS. Frank could be holding up the audit till it is outdated. The info would be old and useless. It would not give a view of the current company. This would give Frank a buy back window. A period of time when money was coming in to buy shares but the PPS would still suck.
I watch Frank make really great moves and then turn around and make a newbie mistake that someone of his years should not. Unless he wants to....

Food for thought.

yes duke....and as he buys back shares...he'll be retiring a percentage of his shares along with it to keep his 53% controlling interest. As he retires the shares he has so freely given himself as the O/S has gone up....the O/S can and should return to a much, much lower number prett quick. of course all depending on the stock price.

i don't think frank is in a big hurry to get the pps up. it could be working in the long term shareholders favor....if we have the patience to see this through.

There's a lot of talk about the importance of a share buyback to reduce the O/S. But let's consider what Frank's real goal is here. I believe all along he's said he wants to get this network up and running and then sell it. Well, folks, I have to tell you that the size of the O/S has no bearing, none whatsoever, on how much money the company will sell for. The company is worth what it's worth. End of story. So if Franks & family own 53%, and somehow maintain that while still dumping, then they will get 53% of the price paid. So from Frank's point of view he could care less what the O/S is. 60 billion or 60 trillion he still gets the same amount of money. We other shareholders are the ones who get screwed. The only incentive I can see that he has for a share buyback it to give the illusion that the O/S is being reduced, raising the price on the speculation of such, and then being able to trade shares for services at a more favorable rate. We've seen this in the past with the paltry share buybacks while dumping 5 times the buyback amount on the market.

So in my cynical view there is no sense even talking about a buyback. It isn't going to happen, at least not with a net affect of reducing the O/S.
