I agree, it shouldn't matter if you have 100mil shares or 100 shares. We are all in this together and all deserve to be treated the same. And you gotta remember, there could be that one guy with $100 invested that believes so much in the company that he refers in 100 other people.

Right-o. People that have to boast about their wealth and/or or possessions to feel good are usually empty inside.

Weather you have $10 or $10 million invested you are an investor and are treated the same. Don't worry about people that brag on the boards. 9 times out of 10 they have no money and just brag to feel like somebody. Most rich don't brag because what is the point?

Did an answer ever come up about being broadcast in HD or not?
If we aren't, we should start.
Most cable packages have a HD package that contains all the HDTV channels.
Not to mention that we already know that the GLBT public has extra money, and thus are more likely to also have toys like a HD television.

Hey Frank... are you listening?

Ignore them. Anyone who would make such comments isn't worth your time. And they're probably lying about themselves anyway. Some posters here are "ego-trippers." They usually have low self-esteem and can only feel good about themselves by repeatedly telling us (and themselves) how "great" they are. Even if they are telling us the truth, they can only feel good about themselves by tearing others down. Show me an ego-tripper and I will show you a "frightened child" who lives in constant fear of criticism and exposure.

You, however, are demonstrating your personal strengths by returning to college and creating your own future. And I have no doubt you will make it.

See you in Vegas, where we will laugh at the ego-trippers over some really good wine. [Big Grin]

MM, don't feel bad. None of us have "nothing" Have you NOT seen the QBID PPS lately!!! LOL! I would not take offense to anything anyone says on here. Not to discredit or speak badly of anyone here... Personally, there are some posters whose comments I could care less about, others whose comments I take note of and appreciate, and other that I am indifferent about...It is very easy to project oneself as one wants when sitting behind a computer screen. My UNSOLICITED advice: Take it with a grain of salt and/ or let roll of you like water off a duck’s back . MM have a happy Fri and you keep doing what you are doing. GLTA!

I'm as disappointed by the PPS as everyone else, but it's really not hard to understand why the PPS is where it is:

1) Frank's credibility is low, so most of the positives presented at the CC have been discounted or ignored (right or wrong).
2) The audit is such a key detail in determining Q's value that most investors aren't committing more money until it is released (so there is low demand for shares).
3) Many investors wrongly expected all their questions to be answered by the CC. Their disappointment breeds fear and fear breeds panic and panic breeds a selloff (excess supply reduces PPS).
4) Many "investors" are working hard to drive the PPS lower before the audit so they can load up (buy low, sell high). If they are correct, they make a ton. If not, they will "lose" less money.

I understand how most of you feel because I am no different. Except I still have a strong belief in Frank's ability to make Q successful. I'd like to change many things about Frank . . . but I wouldn't mess with his business methods. I could be wrong, but I think the guy is a "diamond in the rough" (no jokes about CMKX, please).

Oh yes, I also have never expected to get rich overnight. Unfortunately, I was right about that.

Patience, patience, patience. If I could force myself to do it, I would walk away from the market for six months. I have no doubt I would be happy when I returned . . . without suffering all this pain.

Bottomliner... I totally agree!!!

Interesting read on Dish and OLN:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051021/ap_on_en_tv/echostar_hockey_dispute

Fri Oct 21, 8:03 AM ET

DENVER - The owner of The Dish Network said Thursday it pulled the Outdoor Life Network from its system after the cable channel failed to provide NHL games to the nation's second-largest satellite television provider.

EchoStar Communications Corp. spokesman Marc Lumpkin said the network did not show games on Oct. 10-11 and on Monday and Tuesday as advertised. "We were not given advance notice that they would not show the programming," he said.

Although best known for broadcasting the Tour de France and cyclist Lance Armstrong, OLN this fall took over broadcasting National Hockey League games on cable from ESPN, a unit of The Walt Disney Co.

"We are surprised and disappointed that Dish has unilaterally chosen to stop providing OLN to its customers, and denied fans the opportunity to watch sports coverage on OLN," spokeswoman Amy Phillips said.

The contract dispute between EchoStar and OLN revolves around OLN's placement in a higher-priced channel package by Dish Network, which is distributed to fewer viewers.

OLN, owned by cable giant Comcast Corp., set a requirement that the channel must be seen by 40 percent of a cable or satellite TV system's viewers in order for it to broadcast the NHL games. It said the Dish Network has failed to meet that requirement.

Lumpkin declined to comment on the specifics of the dispute.

EchoStar would have to move the channel from its top package to a lower-cost package that may have fewer channels but more viewers. That would raise the fees Dish Network viewers pay.

"We work hard to provide choice for customers and to keep prices low," Eric Sahl, an EchoStar senior vice president, said in a statement. "Most of our customers have made the decision they do not want to pay the additional cost of watching the channel."

EchoStar hasn't been afraid to take on networks before. In March 2004, it pulled Viacom Inc. programming — including MTV, the Comedy Channel and Nickelodeon — from the Dish Network for two days until an agreement was struck on a long-term contract.

Based in suburban Englewood, EchoStar's Dish Network has about 11.4 million customers.

ohhh so now i not only have to be the poor destitude person of the group but now i gotta be the kid of the group. Talking about adding insult to injury.

actually in todays terms it could go either way. Its all in the context that it is used. In this case it was not used in a mean, slanderous, insulting or derogatory mannor. (Damn too much english class) So yes it was non offensive but more a term/slang of endearment.

Where ya been lately? If you are lurking, I understand. I tried that for awhile but found out I'm too mouthy to stay silent for long. Fortunately, most allstock readers are kind enough (and smart enough) to ignore most of what I say.

No offense meant, but you've told me your age, and you're young enough to be my . . . "younger brother". Actually, I have children older than you.

But I like associating with younger people, even if they do confuse me sometimes.

By the way, am I right about the person I mentioned in my last PM? Total class, right?

No offense meant, but you've told me your age, and you're young enough to be my . . . "younger brother". Actually, I have children older than you.

But I like associating with younger people, even if they do confuse me sometimes.

By the way, am I right about the person I mentioned in my last PM? Total class, right?
