SAR is what i am watching at,,,this is a buy indicator and why i want to hold this area is because we are about 1-2 days from ticking to BUY according to the SAR...the SAR is the dots coming down..everyday we get another dot lower and as soon as a candle breaks through the dot, it flips to the bottom and we get a run....
Now saying that, everything will be in place in the next 2 days if we can hold this area for a run..We will not run big if there is not news..but i say it again, look back historically when we are at these chart levels and what the company does...
MACD and Full Stoch have also bottomed and are now turning up...

Good morning all you lovely QBIDians. Last might I talked briefly with a marketing man with Verizon. He is involved in their new fiber optic network.
Supposedly, this system will put the cable industry out of business. He had many wonderful things to say about it. But, it was not what he said it was what I remembered!
I recall a PR from Frank, about the February time frame, discussing a telephone company who is getting into the Cable TV business. As I recall, this company approached Q and would start their new service in the Fall.
“Contracts have been signed and are pending approval by the carrier companies.”
If you notice, Frank used the PLURAL, that is, more than one carrier!
The guessing game… Q has been trying for quite a long time to add cities on RCN. The problem has been technical. I see an expansion here. We all know that Q has wanted Chicago for a long time. Verizon??? Time Warner and Q already have their Master Agreement in place, now its up to the Regional Divisions. As my brother would say, some X-factor.
IMO, we will hear something soon or on October 11.
I believe that Frank really wants to break loose of the strangle hold that’s on the stock and that that window is now opening.

Lets all say a prayer for the folks in the lousiana and texas coastal areas...this is going to be terrible..new orleans is already beginning to flood back....
I currently am up in NW louisana so i dont expect major damage...I am saying this because if i am not here for a while, you will know why....We are expecting 6-12 inches of rain, 70 MPH winds, and Tornados...This will be nothing compared to the coastal areas...
Just a warning, and yes ill be fine, just dont know how long the power will be gone, if at all

Jen I remember the PR that you are talking about. Frank used the term telephony providers or something to that effect. I was just looking for it in my archived prs, but haven't found it yet. I remember it was something that was supposed to occur around fall of this year. I have been thinking about that a lot.

well i recall that NTI is on high grounds and wont be getting to bad of wind....Yes, i believe that the entire city will flood again, just like after Katrina, but if i recall NTI was safe....I will be fine, just getting prepared for mini problems compared to most...just wanted to let you guys know ill be safe, and if im gone for an extended period its more than likely just power outages

Jen you must have a good calulator to use when you are trying to figure your expected earnings on your shares. my calculator runs out of digits at 26mil. HAHAAAAA. I tossed around the idea of picking up another 100,000,000 shares, but I'm not comfortable with it right now.

ohhh god Digdough!!!i would be HIGHLY HIGHLY surprised if richard did anything else than IR for QBID...no doubt this guy works extreme hours and we all know he cannot keep up as is...his emails, he usually keeps them as short as possible and is normally always backed up..sometimes he is working past 8PM and times he has slept at the office....
4 Tune, you would think wouldnt you...but no he is in meetings for a little bit... but i would say that i do think that maybe Richard is not picking up the phone as much as he was before....

very interesting DD and Jenn about the verizon thing....they must be thinking that Q has a lot of pull...as in, pull from one carrier to the other....Verizon will just be starting off, and the more subsribers they can pull from cable and satillete the better...so they must think that by carrying Q they can get a major influx of subscribers...
Maybe we should send an email spree to Verizon asking for Q!!(dont know if its even possible yet!)
Im gonna send out 2 more requests to dish and directv with other emails of mine!!keep it comin with the demand! May as well place demand for everybody you think may want it!

MT, I have emailed Dish and Direct. Can't get it yet. I don't think Verizon is an issue yet. Their too new in this and few subscribers. But I won't hesitate to request that they carry Q when they pick up some territory.
