What is very interesting about PRRM is that they have been covering every gay event (sports)in the Vermonmt area, they have production studios and they also have contracts with Comcast.
Last year when I suggested on the PRRM thread that Dan (prrm) and Frank (qbid) get together I was told not in this life time. Who knows maybe this lifetime has come.
I cannot imagine that it would hurt Qbid in any way if these two companies were to get together.
GO QBID!!!!!

Q Television’s studios recently relocated to Burbank, Calif., but on-air gay daredevil Jack E. Jett hasn’t abandoned North Texas just yet
By Daniel A. Kusner Life+Style Editor
W ith the advent of the Q Television network last year, Haltom City, Texas, was transformed into the capital of live gay TV. Most North Texans didn’t know much about it because Q TV cable access TV. isn’t available in our region yet. With bleached hair, a disarming personality and a fetish for Playtex gloves, Jack E. Jett (aka Jack Pinson) was already a staple on Dallas’ cable access TV. And when Q Television set up shop in Texas, he became the network’s chaotic host with the utmost, working on a slate of live-television programs. Recently, Q TV relocated its production studios to Burbank, Calif. So Jett — who still lives in Dallas with his partner of 12 years — will commute to Burbank to shoot his newest program, “QueerEdge.” In order to catch up with the Grand Prairie native, we asked Jeff to answer a few questions by e-mail. Dallas Voice: Okay, what’s up with the dishgloves? Jack E. Jett: My love of cleaning wear started early in my childhood. I was always fascinated with feather dusters, the lemony scent of Pledge and dishtowels. I love that dishwashing gloves come in such festive colors, which makes dishwashing fun and more like a party. To me, they’re like a security blanket, and I freak out if they are not on and the camera is. I do wear them while having sex — just not on my hands. I hope that doesn’t come off as bragging.
With “The L Word” and “Will & Grace,” TV is already quite gay. Now there are three networks: Logo, Here! and Q Television. In 2005, what’s considered the final frontier of gay television? Television will never be gay enough. We have a lot of catching up to do. The final frontier would be something like, “Battle of the Gay Network Stars vs. the Straight Network Stars.” I don’t think that gay TV will peak until we see “The Edna Jean Robinson Christmas Special” airing on ABC.
Is America big enough to have three queer networks? Not if all three were competing with the same types of programs. I love Logo’s lineup — they’re bringing in some big names and amazing concepts. Here! has a great eye for comedy. Q Television is focusing more on the gay community itself — pride events, news and lifestyle shows.
What’s one thing you’d like to do that producers and general managers won’t allow? Let me see. I had a man swinging from the rafters on a meat hook. I covered a bikini-clad woman in ground beef and liver. And I conducted a sperm-tasting contest. I wanted to do a series entitled “Vagina 101.” I think gay men know so little about the vagina and all that goes on down there. But they wouldn’t allow me to bring in a fake vagina as a demonstration device. They suggested I use a sketch artist. I blew it off because I couldn’t find someone who could properly sketch a labia on live TV
In your opinion, what are the top two moments in the history of live television? I love it when anyone freaks out on TV, so at the top of my list is when Farrah Fawcett flipped out on Letterman. Second was when CNN came back on-air after a commercial, and Bernard Shaw had just taken a drag from a cigarette. It was a blast to watch the smoke seep out of his mouth as he delivered his first story.
Envision Jack E. Jett 10 years from now: By then, I hope to have completed my autobiography, “Not Without Poppers,” and laying in bed with my husband and dogs while watching “Seinfeld” reruns.
During your tenure on Q TV, what on-air moment are you most proud of? Sometimes I get serious. When I was in Washington to cover the Bush inauguration, I wanted to interview people at a homeless shelter near the White House. I asked this amazing, brilliant and huge black man if he had anything to say to Bush, and he gave a speech that blew me away and left me in tears. I was speechless. It is the only time I have had to stop tape. I was overwhelmed and I could not pull myself back together. It really made me realize what a vacuum I live in.
Who would you never allow to be a guest on your show? Fred Phelps or Pat Robertson — unless we had a pre-arranged fighting agreement. It would have to be one of those “no rules” fights, and I’d have my buddy Esera Tualo help me with the “interview.”
When will Dallas Comcast viewers be able to tune in to your brilliant work? Q TV is now part of the RCN, Cox and Time Warner family, which means soon, we’ll be on the air in Houston. I just heard from someone in the cable sales department say that Dallas will be one of the last cities because there’s so much conservative money in the region.

Hey MT, maybe once the campaign is established you can take a step further and email large GLBT organizations and ask them to put your request and/or campaign information into each of their membership newsletters...just a thought.

Eddy, that would probably be great for you, as we know that you have a ton of prrm shares I would say that's the best chance for prrm is to be bought out I still have a few prrm left.

Someone that is good with letters type us out a letter to frank demanding the audit and buying back shares with a loan and giving Q some debt! To prove he believes in this company. Dilution shows he doesn't believe in his own company!
LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
And we will all individually email it to frank and richard!

Taking out a loan to buyback shares isn't a good idea because then you have interest to deal with. Instead, Frank should promise not to dilute while the stock is under .01 and instead take out loans to finance "new" projects.

Saw this on another board and was wondering what everyones opinion on it was. I remember the PRs for QBID and PRRM(i believe) coming out around the same time about a "private equity group" buying shares up to .01.

" Private Equity Group" In pink sheet stocks that means a "black hole" that cash and assets can disapear into. "Private Equity Group" can also have private side contracts with the owner of the company, even operating at a loss, a company can have substancial revenues. The owner chooses to pay the private equity groups debt first leaving debts tied to the shareholders unpaid. the other classic pink sheet scam is to sell the assets to a private equity group at less than market value, then a kickback is paid to the owner leaving the shareholders with a small percent of there investment. Until the shares are virtualy just a shell and worthless, as we all see the pps lowering with what seems to be great progress of the q television network, I believe this pink sheet disease has infected QBID.

Don't forget to send your letter to Echostar/DISH Network. 20 letters a day gets Q some play :)

i called them the 'pros from dover' last post on page 69.
"The purchase will be made with private financing of five million dollars, and will not dilute Triangle Multi Media stock, QBID. The purchase will include an ownership position by the private equity group, but controlling interest will be with Triangle Multi Media."
so...the pros from dover (private equity group) ante up 5m cash to purchase nti and they get for their risk of capital an "ownership position"--and give up "controlling interest" to triangle multi media...(who "will not dilute Triangle Multi Media stock, QBID").
they put up all the money, we put up nothing, and we retain "controlling interest".
o k.
i'd sure like to read THAT agreement of sale. and the contract between tmm and the "private equity group". and the names of the principles.
this "private equity group" couldn't be frank and rene....
