RM = 438

Like I said yesterday, at this rate, we'll go below 400 next week... 300s! I still say, as far as I can find, 300s is not a pink stock RM. At least I can not find any that low.

Highly Successful European Visit
Chicago Gay Games was a top-level sponsor of the EuroGames, as were Gay Games VII’s premiere sponsors PlanetOut/Gay.com and the Q Television Network (QTN). Gay Games representatives were honored guests at official sponsor and government functions, and met with hundreds of European athletes competing in the seven (7) EuroGames sports. QTN filmed hours of coverage that will culminate in on-air news coverage and a commemorative DVD. “Gay Games VII already has paid registrants from most countries in Europe,” said Boyer, “and dozens of teams and hundreds of additional individual-sport athletes at the EuroGames further committed to participate in the 7th Gay Games. The Gay Games movement has greatly strengthened LGBT sports in Europe since 1982 and the commitment to that legacy remains strong throughout the continent.”

http://www.sfist.com/archives/2005/06/30/a_gay_cable_channel_in_sf_thats_crazy_talk.php

Of course, there are two other gay cable channels already available to Comcast subscribers (three, if you count Bravo) Here! and Q Television. But those channels are not part of standard digital cable packages, and must be added on as premium channels, like HBO or Showtime. LOGO, where it is available, is not a premium channel, and shows up in the homes of cable subscribers whether they want it or not. We smell a metaphor in there.

Available to Comcast subscribers? Is this right?

no problem kev we will definitely be in touch further in the future to help with the promotion of our lil qtv.their must be hundreds of qbid investors just in the nyc and new jersey area that might also be interested in helping out.we shall see how this all unfolds.i am still a pure faithful qbidian that beleives in this companies future although i also beleive that we could see a majore shake out of weak hands before a real run up.of course any real news will get this chugging up past a penny easily but with no news i expect a slow move down to .0014 before a run up to .002+.best of luck to you all.my order is still sitting for 500k at .0016 no fills yet.maybe this is a good sign but like i stated i feel a shake coming before the run up .this will get all the bashers out in full swing trying to get us faithful to sell out.my suggestion to you all is that if you can handle seeing the red for a while in your accounts DO NOT SELL I REPEAT DO NOT SELL HOLD STRONG AND BE PATIENT. 5 million long and growing !!!!

Kraft Foods Sponsors Gay Games
Jerry Falwell
Sunday, June 19, 2005
Kraft Foods, the maker of "the world's favorite foods," has found itself in the middle of a public relations nightmare after its corporate leadership decided to sponsor the Gay Games VII, which will take place in Chicago in July. The Gay Games is an Olympic-style series of events where homosexuals from around the world compete.
But the Gay Games are not just about athletic competition. Today I visited the American Family Association's Web site, which illustrates some of the after-hours activities that go on during the Gay Games. These photos can be seen at this AFA Web site: www.afa.net/activism/gaygamesproof.html

Please be warned: These photos contain partial nudity and lewd depictions. But I feel it is important that consumers who purchase Kraft products see what goes on at these Gay Games (billed as "athletic and cultural" events) in order to understand what types of activities Kraft Foods is actually sponsoring.

If one visits the Gay Games Web site, he will discover more than 70 sponsors of the event. These sponsors are almost exclusively homosexual companies, including PlanetOut.com, Q Television, Pink magazine, Girlfriends magazine, Boi magazine, ChicagoPride.com and a variety of others.

Kraft Foods, owner of Maxwell House coffee, Kool-Aid and Capri Sun drinks, Oscar Mayer meats, Jell-O snacks, Oreo cookies, Nabisco Foods, and many other well-known products, has placed its reputation on the line by choosing to sponsor the Gay Games.

In an interview with PlanetOut, Kevin G. Boyer, a spokesman for Gay Games VII, said that, despite the growing protest, Kraft is "behind us 100 percent."

That might change if enough people voice their concern and opposition to Kraft's decision to sponsor the Gay Games.

Join the Nationwide Protest

A nationwide protest is presently erupting, with scores of Americans calling and e-mailing Kraft, urging the company to withdraw its sponsorship of the Gay Games. Many individuals on my staff have already joined in the protest by sending e-mails to Kraft. They are waiting to see if the company will reply.

Critics of this protest say that it is motivated by "hate," but that's far from true. That's the typical whiny mantra of homosexual-rights activists when people raise objections to their activities.

"If you disagree with us, you are hate-mongers!" Give me a break.

The fact is that multiple millions of Americans who loyally purchase Kraft products have a right to express their opinion on the company's decision to link itself with the Gay Games. These people have a right to say, "If Kraft insists on sponsoring the Gay Games, I will be compelled to seek alternative brands at the grocery store."

I am urging all readers to take a moment right now to write to Kraft Foods CEO Roger K. Deromedi to express your disappointment with Kraft Foods. Contact information is below.

Please considerately express to him your desire that Kraft Foods withdraw its corporate sponsorship of Gay Games VII.

I don't think moral-minded Americans understand the potential power that we wield. I believe we can make a real impact on Kraft over the course of the next few days if everyone reading this column will take a couple of minutes to urge the company to cut off its support of Gay Games VII.

I urge everyone to take a stand for decency by participating in this national effort to defend traditional family values. In addition, I am calling on pastors across the country to urge their congregations this Sunday to get involved in this action. We must let Kraft (and other big companies that are watching this situation) know that we are holding them accountable for their actions.

Boy, does this guy live in a box, or what.

Mike

you have a good stock broker. if current ask is below your bid, your stock broker will hesitate to fill your order. vice versa, if current bid is above your ask, your stock broker will try to fill it at the highest bid he can. at least, it happened to me (TD waterhouse).

llinois House Passes Resolution Supporting Gay Games® 2006 in Chicago
Gaywired.com
Wednesday Jun 15, 2005

Event expected to generate up to $80 million in economic activity for City, State

Chicago – The State of Illinois budget agreement of May 2005 included many painful spending cuts. But at least one group of Illinois lawmakers spent the final few days of the General Assembly Session lining up support for an event that will significantly enhance Illinois and Chicago revenues over the next 2 years, and generate even more economic activity by improving the State’s reputation as an exciting travel destination for years to come.

As the 94th General Assembly closed, the Illinois State House of Representatives adopted a resolution introduced by State Representative Kenneth Dunkin in support of the 2006 Chicago Gay Games. The Gay Games is an 8-day sports and cultural event that event that will bring tens of thousands of tourists, and as much as $80 million, to the Windy City in July of 2006.

“I am delighted to have sponsored this resolution,” said Dunkin, who represents the near North Side of Chicago. “The lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities of Illinois contribute so much to the economy and culture of this state. The Gay Games has already created jobs and revenue for the businesses of Chicago. In July 2006, Gay Games VII will have an impact on par with some of the city’s largest conventions and sports events. It makes good business sense to support this kind of positive economic activity and we’re delighted to welcome the world to Chicago next year.”

The 2006 edition of the Gay Games marks the return of the event to North America for the first time in 12 years. Gay Games VII will take place 15-22 July 2006, with Opening Ceremony at Soldier Field, Closing Ceremony at Wrigley Field, and cultural and arts programming at Millennium Park and throughout the City of Chicago. Athletes will compete in 30 sports taking place at venues on the city’s west, south and north sides, lakefront, downtown, and Evanston. As many as 35,000 visitors from all over the world will come to the city and another 40,000 to 60,000 Chicagoans will participate as athletes, artists, fans or volunteers.

State Representative Sara Feigenholtz was a co-sponsor of the resolution. “My district includes so many businesses that will benefit from the Gay Games,” she said. “More important, this event will be a boon to the entire Chicago community, with events throughout our many diverse neighborhoods. It will also have a long-lasting legacy for this city, promoting our beautiful lakefront and culture community.”

“Representative Dunkin has really stepped up to the plate for the LGBT community,” said Chicago Games, Inc. Government Relations Committee co-chairs Tracy Baim and Renae Ogletree. “He understands both the economic impact of the Gay Games as well as our mission to break down stereotypes and eliminate bigotry. We thank him for his support of this event and for really getting how much it will impact our community and our economy.”
The resolution passed by the Illinois House on May 31, 2005, reads:

HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Chicago will host Gay Games VII from July 15, 2006, to July 22, 2006, as the Games return to North America for the first time in 12 years; and

WHEREAS, Gay Games VII will feature 14,000 participants, competition in 30 sports, world-class athletes and artists, band and choral performances, nightly medal ceremonies, a week-long arts festival, parties, and spectacular opening and closing ceremonies showcasing entertainment, pageantry, and a parade of participants from more than 70 countries; and

WHEREAS, The Gay Games are open to anyone and have a 25-year history; there are no qualifying events or minimum or maximum requirements; and

WHEREAS, Gay Games VI was held in Sydney in 2002 and had an $80 million impact on the local economy and 12,979 registered participants; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we recognize the organizers, participants, and attendees of Gay Games VII in Chicago, and we wish a successful event for all; and be it further RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Chicago Games, Inc., the Gay Games VII host committee.

About Gay Games VII
Gay Games VII Sports and Cultural Festival will take place 15-22 July 2006. Over 12,000 athletes from more than 100 countries will compete in 30 sports ranging from softball to ******port, swimming to tennis. The weeklong event will include band, cheerleading and color guard performances, chorus, an ancillary arts festival, and a series of community-organized social events and parties. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 15 July at Soldier Field, the lakefront home stadium of American-style football’s Chicago Bears. Closing ceremony will be 22 July at Wrigley Field, the home of Major League Baseball’s Chicago Cubs, located in the heart of Chicago’s largest LGBT neighborhood.

For the first time the Gay Games in Chicago will receive widespread television coverage on the Q Television Network. Early sponsors of Gay Games VII include PlanetOut/Gay.com; Q Television Network; Sydney New Mardi Gras; McKnight, Kurland and Baccelli; Mate, Genre, Girlfriends and Pink Magazines; Windy City Media Group; and more than 50 business sponsors.
Registration for Gay Games VII is now open at http://www.gaygameschicago.org/. Information is available in Spanish at http://www.gaygameschicago.org/es/.

Kraft is still on the Chicago gay games website as a sponsor as of right now, so I guess I answered my own question. As long as they are listed on their they are sponsors.

Gay viewers have two other options. Here!TV is a pay-service cable network available in more than 40 million households and carried by Comcast, Cox Communications and Charter Communications Inc. Q Television Network, also a pay-service cable network, is estimated to be in 16 million households and carried by RCN satellite services.

Gay TV
I have to admit, I'm a little scared about what these new gay tv networks will be like. I'm afraid of more "Queer as Folks" and "L-Words" that only show one side of the gay world. But at the same time, I can't say anyone would like to watch a show about well-adjusted Log Cabin lesbians and their zany dogs. Will there be enough content to warrant THREE networks? Matt emailed quite a few gay bloggers this message, but since he took the time to email me too about his new effort, Q Television Network, I'll share this email:

The Q Television Network is a national television network dedicated to the needs of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and even straight communities. We proudly feature unique in-house productions such as Q on the Move, On Q Live!, and Women on Women.

Our goal is to bring quality lifestyle programming before a nationwide audience. In order to do this, we need your help! Please support the Q Television Network by encouraging your blog readers to visit http://www.qtelevision.com/main/iwantqnetwork.asp to request QTN from their local cable companies.

We can't do this without community support, so please spread the word. The Q Television Network thanks you and hopes to be in your area very soon! For more information, please visit our website at http://www.qtelevision.com or
email website@qtelevision.com.

I'll be very interested to watch how this plays out in the public arena, as well as the gay world. I don't know if I'd pay more to get a gay network, but I would consider tuning in if it was part of my standard digital cable package. If they are part of a standard package, I worry about poor or adult programming being seen by those people that we so desparately want to convince we are not innately immoral. On the other hand, if the programming is quality and truly representative of all parts of the gay world, then it has the potential to really change the hearts and minds of those willing to listen.

Penny-Trader,
Thank you. I have always appreciated you as one of the voices of reason on this forum. I do have faith that Q is a company of integrity and all signs point to explosive growth at some point. And since I really have no idea what the timetables look like, I'm going to take your advice, grab a java, enjoy the summer, and let Frank make his timing decisions.

They are working on many deals that have been confirmed.

Doc has had great communications with Wendy from Pride-vision in Canada, and Wendy has on more then one occasion confirmed that we are in talks with Them, and they have installed our encoder equipment in thier facility. Frank stated in the last pr that stated this deal that he would not mention anymore about this deal until it was a done deal. the delay there is the CRTC. I said back when they announced this deal that it would be a long drawn out process. You are dealing with the Canadian government, and there is more red tape then you can imagine.

things are in progress. they are doing all the right things, at all the right events, hiring all the right people.

this company is going to reward you very very very well if you have to patience to let them do what they have to do.

Frank is not a quitter, that he has proven. many here have only been in the stock for a few months and are getting ready to quit. Frank has been holding stock in this company since 1999. If he hasn't quit by now he never will.
Frank is not accustomed to failure, and he will accept nothing less then complete success in this company.

I feel your pain, as i am down as much as any of you. but you will not loose a penny on this stock, unless you sell for less then you bought for. I have no intentions of loosing my money.

it is sitting there till im rich or dead, whichever comes first.

I have complete faith in the fact that this company will make it.

So IMHO all you need to do is relax, grab yourself a java, and enjoy the summer, and let Frank work his magic.

I play penny stocks to forget about worries. (98% of what you worry about can't be changed so, take a pill and enjoy life.)

It's a good time to load up.

Poo. I have experienced that split pattern along with all kinds of other patterns with stocks.

However, most pennies lack backers with funding--not the case with Q.

Q is not just any penny stock--it will be the gold standard worldwide--as in (Q) for quality programing.

Sometimes, not knowing what will happen next can be more stressful than reality.

If you are really worried, you know your options--wait for the run, load up at these prices or jump boat.

For me, the potential outweighs the risks... especially at this point in progress!

Sometimes indecision becomes a decision.....

Good luck.

I have been holding this stock for about 1yr only 350k not getting more till they show me something real been averaging down thats a mistake!! the last yr this stock and company has shown us zero. would not be suprized if we went to pps went to zero. It's hard to beleive a media company that has the things QBID has put pr's out on could have a pps of les than a penny. I quess if you tell yourself something enough you will beleive it, the problem is QBID listening. it used to range from .0017 to .0019 now .0016 to .0018 all the people here trying to get orders filled @ .0016 thats why it keeps getting lower if you beleive then bid it up not down. no real sustained movement by 8/30 I'll leve this stock for the dreamers here.

Do you realize that all this company has to do is get carriage? The product is already in place. What kind of a pps do you expect with 22,000 (probably) subscribers? This is just a matter of scalability now. What happens to the pps when Q has 100,000 subscribers or a million subscribers? IMO if this was ever going to happen it could really only happen after the launch of LOGO and the subsequent exposure that Q is now getting.

Am I being a raging optimist? Or is this reasonable?
