News for 'ADVC' - (Advanced Communications Announces Record-Breaking Revenue for Subsidiary Cyber-Test)
NEW YORK, April 21, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Advanced Communications Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ADVC), a vertically integrated technology and services holding company, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Cyber-Test, Inc. reported record-breaking revenue for March 2005.
"Cyber-Test specializes in the repair and exchange of printers, fax machines, flat panel monitors, laptop computers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), iPods(TM) and gaming systems," said Lisa Welton, president of Cyber- Test. "With the average family now owning at least one computer system in their home in addition to PDAs, iPods and gaming systems for their children, we know this market is going to continue to explode with the onset of faster, more cost-effective technologies. With revenue topping out at over $710,000 for the month of March, and year-to-date sales at $5.5 million, Cyber-Test is on track for a record-breaking year with projected fiscal year end revenue of approximately $7.2 million."
Wayne Danson, president and chief financial officer of Advanced Communications, stated, "We are thrilled with Cyber-Test's financial performance for March. Cyber-Test's electronic repair business has grown by 28% since we acquired its assets and core business in June 2004."
In business since 1986, Cyber-Test is one of the nation's leading repair depots specializing in the repair and exchange of computer peripheral products. The company continues to expand its product lines, increase its customer base and offer specialized services to original equipment manufacturers, third-party administrators and dealers. Cyber-Test's ever- evolving menu of services and varied product support has led to a continued increase in business.
"Cyber-Test is committed to growth and will continue to respond to our customers' need for product repairs and services, so that we can further expand our market share nationwide," said Welton.
The market for repair and exchange through extended service contracts sold by retail stores, manufacturers and other resellers continues to grow rapidly. This is a result of the increasing importance that technology products have in the daily lives of end users and in the conduct of business and the resulting need to protect the investment made in these products.

Great pick. Even though it has such a large float, the level II's look somewhat thin. Could move.

So does anyone know what the 5k buys mean - I know it's the MMs, but does that signal anything, or are they simply exchanging?
