Tuesday my wife and I went to the Hilton next door to the Convention Center for some lunch. While we were standing in line, I noticed five guys with Dish Network shirst on. I grabbed one of the guys and said "Are you guys carrying Q television?" He said, "you'll have to talk to our programming director right there". The guys name was Tom, real nice guy, so I started asking him if he knew of the Q. He said "Oh yeah, I just talked to some folks the other day about whether or not we're bringing them aboard". He also said that he remebered about five years ago that a deal blew up with that network. I said yeah, I know, Frank opened his yap a little too soon and I think that blew the deal. He said, yeah, that's the guys name, but, we're talking with him again. He also asked what I had to do with the Q and I told him that I was just an investor and that I'd really like to see them pick up the Q and he said that they were seriously talking with them right now! Take this for what you want, but it was a purely happenchance meeting and this guy was a programming director. I don't know if he knows completely what is going on, but he seemed to know more than he wanted to tell me. I told him to only share with me what he felt like sharing, so who knows, just trying to do my part! Go Q!

I hope the incident from 5 years ago does not haunt them. On the other hand, maybe dish can now see the forest for the trees. I am sure that Frank also learned a lesson from that severe mistake.

Satellite would work, but I am going to stand my ground and say that cable tv networks just won't touch the idea in the central US (not counting chicago) It's just a different market, a different feel to it

Well, No Q on Oxygen this morning. Did get to see a program hosted by Alex Mizrah (Gay Host) and the program was excellent as far as content and presentation is concerned. Maybe Qtv ought to hire him to do some programs. Our New Baby went home from the Hospital yesterday. All are doing well. Let's have a Big Green Day for Q today. Ricardo

4/14/2005 - Oxygen
Dear QBID Investors,
We are very sorry for the confusion with QTelevision airing on the Oxygen Network this morning. We had extreme difficulties launching the spot through Oxygen and did not find out about it until very early this morning. This logistical problem will take three to four days to fix, but to ensure there will not be another delay; we will go live on April 21st. We have already purchased the air time with Oxygen for 31 days in May and 30 days in June, airing in two slots for ½ hour a piece and can be viewed by any person who currently has the Oxygen Network in their home.
We recognize our investors are discouraged today and please understand we takes steps everyday to alleviate any anxieties you have concerning the success for QTelevision by securing more of a foothold with carriers, talent, programming and media. We are still very much on track and have powerful resources at our disposal to attain the level of success both you and the whole Q staff feel we can achieve.

Maybe Frank bought Bowflex and he had some liposuction and was the guy in the infomercial using the equipment.

Their PR states that they have purchased blocks of time for 31 days in May and 30 days in June, no mention of being broadcasted before that. Just that the live feed will be available to Oxygen on April 21st.
No need to panic we will be there soon enough
He did not say that we would be able to view on 04/21/05, he said that Oxygen would have the live feed. We bought time for 31 days in May and 30 days in June. He did not say that he bought time for April!!!!!
Go QBID!!!!!

I just wrapped-up a meeting with management regarding Oxygen. Obviously, another delay has occurred due to conflicts with pending agreements. Potential carriers that want to air Q On The Move are allowing the infomercial on Oxygen to take place, but do not want that specific show aired. This means Q will have to run another segment more in line with what the carriers want.
Understand that these spots have been paid for from April 1 through June 30. That said, Q wants these spots aired just as quickly as the investors.
I will update as I receive information

There is your answer about today. Its great that we have potential carriers telling us what programs to run and not to run Geez we do have carriers that are interested, its only a matter of time, nothing more and nothing less.

My take on this is if a carrier is allowing an infomercial to be shown, but not a specific show to be shown, they may be more than a "potential" carrier.

I agree, it sounds like specific programming has been discussed and rights given to a carrier
If we only knew all that is happening but Frank will give us the info in due time.
Long and holding and accumulating.

I am, however, a little disappointed that Q is paying for a time slot that runs between April 1st through June 30th. We have payed for almost a full month of advertising without the infomercial being aired. Nonetheless, I am satisfied that Richard has taken it upon himself to inform investors with reasons for the delay.

WTF. Since when do carriers pick a different show from the one they are going to be airing to advertise for? Either there are some shows that will be picked up by certain carriers that Frank hasn't told us about or the whole buying advertisments thing is just a fraud. I hope to god its the former and not the latter.

i was wondering about that 33 mil traded on the first three minutes as a result of frustration or what! however, i would buy the update today - there is a carrier news hidden in the lock box. "Potential carriers that want to air Q On The Move are allowing the infomercial on Oxygen to take place, but do not want that specific show aired" => note "potential carriers", how many are there? good point, Doc! livefeed is available to oxygen on april 21; didnt say oxygen will air the live feed on april 21. we are just getting too serious. relax, it will come, people.
