One area that I am going to start researching is ethanol production.....
As many know, ethanol is additized into gasoline at a 10% ratio. This produces a cleaner burning fuel and also raises the octane. Ethanol is mainly produced by ADM (Archer Daniel Midland), I believe in the Indiana area. I do know that there is a lot of other co's considering building these type of facilities nationwide.
Another area is soybean oils used as a blend stock with diesel (Bio-Diesel). Again, I believe this is beginning to taek place in the Indiana area.....
I will post any new picks next week....

"Northside eliminated more than 98 percent of sulfur emissions and held them to measured levels as low as 0.08 pounds per million British thermal units of fuel use. At this level, SO2 emissions were 94 percent below the general limits set for high sulfur coal in federal law and regulation and almost 50 percent below project design limits. All other emissions were also under the levels set either in design or by federal law and regulation. "
Fluidized Bed technology is the future of coal-burning plants.
