Do you have to be gay in order to submit an application? I'm just curious.

I would be interested in applying, but I don't think I'm what they're looking for.

Q Television will be placing an application form on its web site (www.qtelevision.com) where all active members of the GLBT community can apply. The network hopes to have the advisory board operating very soon. It is expected to convene over the internet every other week initially, and then change to a monthly meeting.

I would expect that they are looking for members of the GLBT community to advise. They did say "active members" of the GLBT community can apply.

Vforce, It's not gonna happen. Don't hold your breath. Man I am starting to belive this was ran up by a group because last year we had so many folks pumping this stock, doing dd's and now none of those same folks are nowhere to be found. Why aren't those same folks still trying to do dd's on this stock. This was supposed to be the year, WOW

You see this thread has more stupid comments then george Bush! More uneless PR then enron. Come on people this stock suck!!!!! How come i am the only one that sees that. Even if a pump and dump group was to hit it it would be a waste of time and effort because the people who have it now would sell it the first chance they get!!

No you're labeled as bashers because you bring no proof to this board. You back U4's posts regardless of all the evidence I brought against his points.

You're not a QBID investor LexKartel. You're a QBID daytrader. You're right that QBID sucks as a running day trade stock. It obviously doesn't fit your trading style, so I urge you to focus on your other picks. I'll tell you again, QBID is more of an investment. Matt
LOL - nice personal attacks, notice you pumpers can't say anything else but to name call and attack people - anyways i'm from Connecticut, if you're around we can meet up for lunch someday. [/QB]
Ghosty...I was raised in CT too...Moved to Knoxville TN in 1982...You and I visited a couple weeks ago with the Gains picks...
I have $$$ in this stock as well as others...Am making a few bucks with this and picking up more shares...Made back the 2 picks that I lost on with that group..here...so give us some slack...
It's a pain coming here and have to sort through the BS to get some good information...If I screw up I'll be the first to know...Don't need Lex and others to tell me that then evaluate what I'm doing...I'm a big boy and am responsible for my choices...same as you...

I hear you. Been in it since april 04, but thinking of selling a large part once we have another run. You're right, almost none of the original supporters are here any more. Makes me wonder too.....

What are you wrong about? You didn't bring anything to the board besides, "QBID sucks and Frank Olsen is a liar." You can't be wrong or right about that.

If you think Frank is a liar in that he missed the deadline then you're right. Where I think you're wrong is that, in my opinion, just because Frank missed a deadline doesn't mean he isn't still trying to fulfill his promises. I'm holding long. Like many have said, it gets frustrating to watch a stock day in and day out if you're not going to sell it right away. Take a break from it all and come back when you're ready to take action on the buy/sell button.

I can honestly say I haven't checked a quote of QBID in over two weeks. The only reason I know the relative price is because of all the posts mentioning it. I skip over all the L2 quote posts on IHUB because they're pointless to me. All I do is keep track of the company at this point. Matt

If you have no interest in this stock why do you sit here all day. Tell me that. should you not be out doing your dd on next weeks stock that is going to run. it is sad that you have nothing to do but sit here and type in a forum you have no interest in.

Unless your intention is to buy our shares as we drop them. at which point you are waisting your time here. Go play stupid somewhere else.

Not sure that recruiting a committee using the PR's is the best approach to have folks apply from each state...If there wasn't a huge expectation of some miracle PR today then this one would have been neutral in terms of the PPS..

my complaint, frank olsen doesnt update investors about the reasons for the delays. investors have the right to know whats going on when a deadline isint met. but, frank doesnt even acknowledge the announcement or delay. he just puts out another pr that doesnt even relate to the missed deadline.

roadrunner....I should read up on the laws of pink sheets but are they required to put out any pr's? We may feel obligated to know what's going on but I don't think we are necessarily. It is at the companies discretion what they feel is worthy of being released.

The way I see it, they're trying to only put out positive PR's. This way the PR out today is more neutral than negative. No drastic price drop takes place. Then new investors won't see the history of bad pr's when doing DD to invest or not. I'm not worried though. Matt

this stock relies on the ceo's word. if he has not followed through on three diffrent prs in the past 8 weeks and doesnt even acknowledged he even released those three prs with any additional information since they were released, how can we trust any future prs? olsen can only do this for so long. i think its starting to catch up to him, as far as the pps goes.

maybe hes trying to drive the pps down to buyback shares at a cheap price? if he is, hes doing a good job.

in todays pr there was no mention of three important announcements that were promised in three prs from the past 2 months. here they are

1)

28 December 2004: Q Television Network's 'Q On the Move' To Be On 150 Stations Nationwide. Show Will Be Distributed Starting February 2005. Q Television Network announced today that one of its signature shows, "Q On The Move," will be available on 150 stations nationwide. This will enhance national awareness and provide a revenue boost for the network. "Q on the Move" will begin airing on the 150 stations on February 14th, 2005 and will continue for 13 full weeks. Stations and specific air times will be announced in the near future. "Q on the Move" is a weekly, one-hour show which spotlights the gay life, culture and businesses in different cities. The show travels all over the country -- Seattle and Washington DC have already been featured and Atlanta will follow. The popular show includes prominent gay celebrities with Congressman Barney Frank recently featured on the Washington DC show. "It is good to have carriage companies knocking on our door instead of us going to them. It creates a new profit center for us," stated Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network. "Q Television will announce its expanding coverage areas for its 24/7 signal very soon," said Olsen.

2)

7 January 2005: Q Television Network Launches New Live Show: 'Good Morning Gay America.' Fully Sponsored, Original Show Will Begin Airing Next Month From Seattle, Texas and New York. Q Television Network, the leading television network for the gay and lesbian community, announced today a new live program: Good Morning Gay America. The fully sponsored show will begin airing in February and will broadcast live from Seattle, Texas and New York. Good Morning Gay America will air live, every weekday for two hours starting at 9:00 a.m. EST (6:00 a.m. PST). It will be anchored by two well-known gay television personalities with an additional twenty-five news correspondents located throughout the country contributing to the show. The show will feature important gay news, celebrities, travel, entertainment, weather and business. In addition, Good Morning Gay America is the first ever live show that will tape at all major, national gay events. "We guarantee we will be at every national gay event across the country," said Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network. "We are currently in the process of picking the final host of the show and we have cut the field down to six well-known gay personalities. We will announce the host names along with the sponsors late next week," said Olsen. "We are very excited about this show and are thrilled that prominent gay personalities and sponsors are knocking on our door hoping to get involved with our network." Good Morning Gay America is another addition to Q Television's dynamic programming line-up unlike any other competitive station. The line up includes all original programming including "Q On the Move," "WOW! Women on Women," "On Q Live," "Q The Music," and Paradise Falls.

3)

10 January 2005: Q Television Network is Producing a Tribute to Elizabeth Taylor. Q Television Network announced today that it is producing a 2-hour uninterrupted tribute to Elizabeth Taylor. The special will air on Q Television Network on February 14, 2005. The network has also arranged to have the special available to those outside of Q Television's viewing area via pay per-view in March 2005. "Liz Taylor is an icon in the gay community," said Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network. "It gives us great pleasure to pay tribute to a woman who has helped and supported the gay community for decades." The two-hour special will include tributes to Liz Taylor from 50 top celebrities, as well as many of the movers and shakers in the gay and lesbian community. Liz Taylor's great effort in raising awareness of AIDS in America comes from her beliefs that: "It is bad enough that people are dying of AIDS but no one should die of ignorance," said Taylor. It is because of this belief that she has become the lead spokesperson in AIDS awareness.

I don't have to be and I'm not glbt. But I can tell FranQ that people probably want to see what he told them they will see. Or he should shut up about that too. Put up or shut up. Yea.

You sorta just said it right there, "this stock relies on the ceo's word."

We are at his bidding. It would have been great to get a couple pr's about how they're in the 150 markets or who the new hosts are/will be. On the other hand, I didn't care so much for the pr about Q being at the super bowl, presidential inauguration, or the Liz Taylor tribute. If they say they'll be at every major (gay) event across the nation then I believe them. I don't think a follow up pr about the Liz Taylor tribute is needed.

We'll just have to wait and see what's next. No more deadlines since Cathy Rasenberger. Matt

10 January 2005: Q Television Network is Producing a Tribute to Elizabeth Taylor-never happened

i think anything they say in the title of a pr should be done regaurdless of who they hire, even the liz taylor tribute, if they dont follow through, it makes investors, think why should i trust this company?

To all QBID investors
I am sure most of you are disappointed with the news today, as I am. I wanted something a bit stronger. But if you are a true QBID investor, you should try to see the glass as half full instead of half empty. Although this PR may be viewed as "fluff", it is positive, assuming it is based on truth. Normally I am a daytrader and don't care where a stock might be next year (or even next week). But I believe QBID's longterm potential is huge and has changed me from a QBID daytrader to a QBID investor. I don't want to see huge PPS spikes and dips because that puts QBID back in the "daytrader" category. I want to see steady solid growth. Sure, I wish the growth would happen faster, but most good things in life take a long time to achieve. If my comments make me a "pumper", so be it. If you think QBID will succeed someday, buy more stock on dips and hold on. If you think it will never succeed, sell your stock for the best price you can get and move on. There are many stocks out there that you can daytrade to satisfy your need for instant gratification.

By the way, I have a few questions for anyone who posts on this thread but does not own QBID and does not intend to own QBID: WHY ARE YOU HERE? I won't mention names because I don't believe in personal attacks, so you can PM an answer if you want to remain anonymous.

1) If you are "protecting" others from buying a "scam" stock, as you often state, I have to ask WHY? Anyone who buys a stock based solely on message board chatter does not need someone to protect them; they need a fulltime caretaker.

2) If you are posting to tell us how smart you are, I have to ask WHY, becasue we don't care to know anything about you. If you are posting to tell us how stupid we are, I have to ask WHY, because most of us already know our own strengths and weaknesses. And I usually know when I am acting stupid, without anyone reminding me.

3) If you are just yanking our chain, I have to ask WHY, because you are wasting valuable time that you might better use to find some money-making stocks. I prefer to spend most of my free time researching stocks that "might" make me some money. Reading your posts wastes my time, and replying to your posts wastes even more time (so I probably won't respond again).

Market just closed, so I will take a break before starting my research for tomorrow's trading day. Good luck to all.
