Haven't posted much lately. I said Q INVESTORS because that's what those of us who are holding are IMO. For those that hoped to just trade this stock for wild returns (that was me actually at first) you need to make a decision if you want to invest in this company (willing to wait long term...not looking to get impatient) or to trade it. If you are only interested in trading QBID, perhaps you should get out now and get back in when there is movement (and stop complaining...things hardly ever work out as quickly as I hoped). Although I can't blame people for some of their complaints...the PPS has surely acted different than I expected to some of the PRs. But, I think the PPS will go up when we see some real revenues (carriers, etc etc), which will come IMO, I just don't know when.
Also, feel free to contact their investor hotline. Ask whatever questions you wish and give them your opinions if you deem that necessary. They will get back to you.
For all of us longs, I believe our day will come. Here's to the Q! ~River~

By the way, Air, just fixed my toilet...had the same problem you were having but the new flapper worked.
Regarding the book, I know you are frugal and want to be rich by 30...just thought you might want to check the book out sometime. IMO it has some great insight on money that they don't teach you in school. Our educational system does not teach some things that I deem very important, and the book mentions some of them.
I know you said you are very frugal. I think that's great...but if you're anything like me, sometimes it's good to learn to enjoy money as well. I didn't really learn how to do that 'til I got married. My wife has taught me how to SPEND and I've taught her how to save/invest. Good match.

that's funny river. i figured as soon as i got married i would have to learn to let my wife spend and attempt to teach her how to save. kinda the reason i want to be rich is so i don't have to tell my woman no. i think that's why i lost the last one. and she was really THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY. ahhh i miss her. yeah i hear that book mostly talks about how to relate with other humans and some other stuff. like selling yourself. another book or for that matter program i'm interested in checking out. is transforming debt into wealth. supposedly this guy guarantees to take you from up to your neck in debt to millionaire status in 7 years or less. and that includes paying off your mortgage.

Whiz, I like you...I've always enjoyed your QBID posts. Few are willing to look as long term as I think you are. (to many, "long term" means three months it seems, lol)
Air, sorry to hear about "the one that got away." Life deals some tough stuff sometimes, bro. No doubt if you are as thrifty as your one post sounded, you will have a crazy time relating to a woman who likes to spend. But, it's good for us...it has been good for me at least. Haven't heard of transforming your debt into wealth, I'll probably check it out. I love going to Barnes & Noble with my wife and getting a good book and a coffee. Could sit there for hours... As for Rich Dad, I wouldn't really say it's about relating to others. At least that's not what I got about it. For me it was more of how to look at money and how to BUY ASSESTS. Ultimately, the goal is to be financially free (at least for me) and that book helped point me in the right direction.

they have agreements. they may not be ready to announce the agreement. the agreement may state that they are not to announce it till a certain date. Trust me the second that Frank can tell us about carriers he will. He is so excited about getting this going that he can barely contain himself.
The problem has always been that Frank wants to share the info with us buy cant. he has been too quick to announce things too early in the past and he admits that it caused harm to the company in that the deals have fallen through.
You can bet you last dollar that he will not do that this time. so the announcement will come not one second before he is allowed to tell us what is in store.
he keeps telling us that we will get the carriers. he has carrier agreements, and we will have to live with that.
this is the TV world and things are very political and a lot of Red tape.
Just be thankful that they are not trying this in Canada. The CRTC would grind you right to a halt with all the crap and requirements they would have to meet.

I know a lot of you are concerned about the pps. Let me tell you. I have now with yet another buy today.......Thanks to NNOS and IWWH....have 3.5 million shares of QBID at an average down of .0041. That's a good chuck of change to have in a penny, let alone a pink.. I have faith in Q and in Frank. He has made business work for him in the past and can't see him being content (after working 11 hard yrs on Q) with just RCN....... We will have carriers....We may dip lower. WE GO THROUGH THIS EVERY TIME WE HIT NEAR THE BOTTOM!!!! then......a few days later.....everyone is cheering. Remember when it does go up.......and it will. Sell a little, take a profit......learn to play the game..... And remember.......the PR's may seem like fluff to some of you but, to me......they show another little step in the right direction for a Network to become stable, respectable, and successful...
Now....off my soap box and off to chart surf.....gotta' find the next BIG ONE! LOL
