We all know who one of the biggest sponsors of the "Queer Lounge" was YES IT WAS QTELEVISION.

Now look at some of the guest were at the lounge.

January 24, 2004

It may have been beyond freezing cold in Park City Friday night, but that didn't keep some of the biggest stars in Hollywood from showing up at the premiere party for "Rize." The latest film by cutting-edge gay artiste David LaChapelle, "Rize" documents the dance phenomenon that's exploding on the streets of South Central Los Angeles.
Held at the always-hoppin' Queer Lounge, the jam-packed party was the place to be on the second official night of the Sundance Film Festival. Robert Gant, of "Queer as Folk," was the first celeb to walk the press-crammed red carpet, and the always-friendly queer star chatted happily to the press, as well as to the crowd of phenomenally great-looking, non-VIP party goers trying to gain access to the event.

After Gant, the stars came in droves: Pamela Anderson and current beau Stephen Dorff, Paris Hilton, Alan Cumming and the extremely gay-friendly Jenny McCarthy all worked the red carpet before scurrying out of the cold and into the Absolut-warmed confines of the VIP room

Man Oh Man We Are Going To Get That Green $$$$ [Big Grin]

by Jenny Stewart

There are reasons gay men and lesbians love Jenny McCarthy: She's funny and intelligent, she's more open than most celebs and she's always willing to get down and dirty with interviewers (even offering to lock lips with this one at the close of the chat). In Park City to promote her new film, "Dirty Love," McCarthy sat down with PlanetOut Entertainment Editor Jenny Stewart to talk about making the film (which she wrote), working with her husband (which was hell) and why gay women are convinced she's a lesbian (a fact she loves).

According to PLanet Out: Other spotted or who spent time in the "Queer Lounge" Kenau Reeves, Robert Gant (Queer As Folk), Alan Cummings, Tom Arnold, and McCauley Caulkin, Jenny McCarthy just to mention a few.

Look at the company that Frank et al have been courting this past week. Very impressive.

Now do you suppose for one minute that with our present pps, maybe just maybe some of these people may buy some shares.

GO QBID!!!!!! This coming week should be very interesting. I Love Green, Especially "Q" Green [Big Grin]

Carriers will move the pps. It has to be coming soon. Those sitting around not buying because of doubt will get to add QBID to their list of should of, would of,could of when this stock takes off.

Just a matter of time boy and girls. That's why I'm holding and playing other stocks. (and watching what Lil is up to. She can pick the winners)

SMC!

I've been aware of URBT since April. Same with Pride which has traded in the .70 range Canadian currency. Neither one is a network. Both are basically a channel. That's why I have often emphasized "Genuine" networks.

"whiz: .70 Canadian for clarification. What about the Australian gay network, is it publicly traded?"

Beats the hell out of me Yasukabu! But with the kind of question I asked it's nice to know bashers have had 24 hours to whine about any little thing they could find! Believe me if there was any networks trading under a buck they would have been crowing about it!

Sometimes it's nice when you can't build a list! Imagine QBID @ .70!

So like I said...

All they have to do is launch!
.........................................................................

Neither one, URBT or PideV has anywhere near the quality programing that QBID has put on the air.

For detractors, traders & investors!

I would ask anyone here to do your own research! Anything short of that & you're not doing your Due Dilligence. I'll not do it for you but I would like to remind everyone here just one little thing,,,

QBID is not yet a Genuine Broadcasting National TV Network. They intend to be but remain in the birth stages.

I've watched Bashers come & go on this & other boards. To date they've all attempted the same old thing. Answering my question with a question or just ducking it altogether. The one thing they've never done is prove me wrong!

I do not accept burdon of proof. I'm not your money manager nor your mother. You want proof? Find it. And then come back here & crow to your hearts content. Sadly for you if you just don't like me, like all the others before, all you'll ever do is find out I'm right! "Genuine" Broadcasting National TV Networks do not trade forless than a dollar a share!

If you're reading this & serious about investing in this thing just go to any "decent" business site & do a sector search on publicly owned tv networks. You'll feel accomplised by doing your own research & it will give you an idea as to what the potential is for this stock.

All I know is I'm satisfied with my investment because I performed my research for myself. I challange any of you to take resposibility for your own decisions.

In closing I would only like to say,,,

"All we ever had to do is launch!"

Hi all,,just got out of 5 days of meetings,,flight got cancelled due to ice storm in ATL. One more night in a hotel.
One Point,,Q Television Network is moving forward.
Lots of interest with Sundance.

It was also good for me to step back and start reading some posts.

As I see it we don't have to defend our network.
It is happening. Great quality from what I have heard on Q live audio.
We are having exceptional interviews with celebrities,,producers,,GLBT heavy hitters,,etc.

Looks like some people wants to stir the pot.

I welcome the debate.

I will say Go QBID!!!

Poor fly--stuck in Florida on a Saturday night! lol

Doc said Paris (as in Hilton) at the Queer Lounge.

Hopefully, we have heard the last of the Donald's

last trip down the aisle.

Maybe the SunDance Festival will now get more TV

coverage on the entertainment news shows.

It's happening.............

Lil,
Micropcaptrade is supposed to have L2's "soon" when, I don't know....but according to pinksheets, the company has to pay to have L2's available....from what I understand...someone correct me if I'm wrong....I use Power E*Trade, and some are available, some are not....it's free to PowerEtrade users....(Java client) Haven't heard of a product that delivers L2's for ALL OTC and Pinks....if you find one, I'd be interested as well....thanks

As in: http://www.pinksheets.com/products/level2.jsp

Here are a links to the articles I posted earlier:

and

http://money.cnn.com/best/magazine_archive/2001/05/KAH.html

===================================
I think that Q is doing a great job of exposure.
I heard they reran that Letterman bit again.
I've asked Gay people at work and they haven't heard of "the Q" yet, I showed him the USA Today ad and he was impressed. But this shows their is great growth potential in viewership.
He also knew about LOGO and said he wouldn't watch do to it being from MTV.
This stock has to move soon, it doesn't need great earnings yet as most new companies don't show profits for years.
Look at those Internet companies whose pps went wild with practically no earnings.
Remember Rasenberger said "I strongly believe that the gay and lesbian community is the last major underserved market in U.S. television," .
and also the MOST IMPORTANT STATEMENT OF THE YEAR:
"Q Television is extremely well positioned to serve this audience. I am pleased to join their team, and excited about the prospect of launching Q Network on cable and DBS throughout the U.S."
This shows validation, potential, etc.
I am sure she wouldn't have taken on the Q if it was a losing proposition.
Remember besides subscribers, sponsers, they have announced: Q Television Network Announces Partnership with Zephyr Media Group. Partnership Will Allow Q Television to Generate Revenues from Infomercials.
They are using the internet for live chat.
It would be great if QLive were on XM or Sirius radio to help pump up each others product.
I believe Sirius announced recently that they wanted to get into TV broadcasts as well.

They are breaking the mold here.
I also believe besides the GLBT community, a number of liberal singles/couples would also be interested in subscribing for the entertainment value and to show support.

Even though they are in NY, Boston, and Frisco, they are not in tose areas completely due to RCN coverage. They need full exposure in those cities as well as many others.

A recent announcement said that "Q on the Move" would be in 150 markets by Feb-14th.
This is a big month coming up!!!

That's the thing Mark and Marty......I love my prophet.net....Don't want to give it up...
And yet, don't want to purchase another whole program just for level 2......The alpha gives you level 2 for pinks as well.....for $53.00 a month...Just for level 2.....not too bad...considering, lots of programs that do include intraday charting w/ level 2 are much more than that...I'm looking to only purchase the level two program....This $53.00 also includes all nasdaq fees.......Guess I'm gonna' take that by Monday, Unless......someone else has anything better than that....

Thanks for the help.....

FYI
================
One wild night at Sundance
From dodging celebrities at the Queer Lounge to crashing Middle-Earth and boxing-themed parties, The Advocate’s senior arts editor packs a lot of queer indie film networking into her first night at Park City’s annual film extravaganza
By Anne Stockwell
An Advocate.com exclusive posted January 26, 2005

Here in Park City, Utah, it’s no simple thing to dance the Sundance. There’s no telling how many Sundance film festivals are going full tilt all at once, from the high-def documentaries at the tiny Holiday Cinemas to the celebrity hubs on Main Street and the invitation-only outposts, hidden in the snow-dusted hills, where movies and dreams are being bought and sold.

There are two ways to respond to the sensory blitz. You can dart from screening to screening at some 10 festival theaters in various locations around town, towing your coat, willing the traffic to move faster and the lines to be shorter. Or you can pick a direction, go with the flow, and see where it takes you. Surrounded by 40,000 other festivalgoers, this year I’m going with the flow.

Friday evening the flow leads me to the Queer Lounge, a superlatively hip, laid-back, welcoming space created and operated in Park City’s Gateway Center by Los Angeles entrepreneur Ellen Huang. It took a lot of support from a lot of queers to get this comfy-cool enterprise running, and I’m reminded why I love my job when I see The Advocate appear in acid-green laser outline in the roll of sponsors on the wall.

In its second year, the Queer Lounge is a smash hit, backing up its mission to queer filmmakers with fellowship by day and hot-and-cold running queer parties every night. Friday’s bash was hosted by TLA Releasing, one of a wow-inducing upswell of gay entertainment businesses putting themselves out there this year

you know, the more i look at this stock the more i think its primed for a nice long + strong uptrend. not just a "run up" either. I dont believe in pennies as long term as a rule but i just may have to rethink that rule for QBID. could be one of the few genuine "rags to riches" stories IMO. looks like i may have to decide if i'm in or out in the very VERY near future
