this thread is so cool. last year, we discussed about las vegas, booze, diapers; and now, we teach one another how to fix the leaking toilet. i love this thread. lol

Airdoo,
I admired the risk you are taking into your investment. I did the same thing when i was your age. lucky that investment turned out many baggers for me. but be cautious about your investment. you may need some savings for something else.

I found the answer to my above question in case any of you were wondering about it.

"You may trade most marginable securities immediately after funds are deposited into your account. However, these funds cannot be withdrawn or used to purchase non-marginable securities, initial public offering (IPO) stocks, or options during the first 10 business days."

So I guess I have to hope QBID doesn't go up too much too soon for now.

yeah i already checked the flapper it's fine. i'm almost positive it's the overflow tube. and yeah i'm thinking about just buying a new toilet too. lol.

Just a suggestion, I've had to file down the metal part to make it even where the flange (flapper) seals against in order to get a proper seal. Although this was a very old toilet. I owned a 90 year old duplex a few year back.

I don't think you'll be able to do it then, either...but I could be wrong. I don't think you can buy penny stocks at all with this type of arrangement...the cutoff might be 3 or 5 dollars. Of course, I'm speaking from no real area of expertise, but I had a friend go through a similar situation...

tqn thanks for the concern. i already bought a house and expect to make my last payment next year. i'm very very frugal. the only thing i wasted money on in years is the stock market. if i lose everything in the market i will still have plenty to survive. i grew up in a poor family and vowed never to have more for my own children. i hope Q makes it happen. if not well i'll figures something out. lol

i stated off 7 years ago with a 25 year mortgage and have only 7 years left. i managed that by making weekly payments and raising the payment when the interest drooped. and by throwing what i could down on it on anniversary dates of the mortgage renewals.

it all helps in the long run.

This may be a dumb question but.........I have been reading this thread for almost a week and I am wondering (not to sound sarcastic) what is it that makes you think this stock will ever go up, let alone reach $1? I am a newbie to pennystocks. I don't understand. You all have such faith in this stock. Isn't all stocks a gamble?

what you did really help to cut down the time. just that i have no funds left as bills max out income. and i guess you know, housing price in vancouver is nuts.

that's a good strategy rod. i put more than 20% down so my mortgage is less. you're required to pay mortgage insurance if you have less than 20% equity. and i more than doubled my payments. when tax check comes in i put it in the mortgage and every time i save up $10k i put that in the mortgage too. i also have a roommate now so i get to put an extra $2k in the house each year. i've been paying on it since sept 2003. so i think i'm doing well. a lot of people think i'm crazy for saving so well. but i'm investing for my future. i'll prob by an apartment complex with the money i make off of Q. haha

we are all playing in las vegas here. if you look at other penny stocks, just an idealy stock cost you a few pennies already; and who knows if it is a scam or not. this q stock is a for real; it started from an idea a few years ago and now, it's a network with all sort of endosement. if i dont spend 1/2 penny for each share, i dont know what other stock should i take risk to.
besides, if i lose this investment, it doesnot affect my daily life. dont invest more that what you can afford to lose.

the time is right for a dedicated network to this type of channel

600 billion dollars expendable cash in the Gay populous.

we are up and running and only a matter of time before a domino effect starts causing the pps to rocket.

there has never been a better time then now to introduce this type of programming.

I have viewed the programming and it is top notch to the point that non gay audiences will tune in as well.

I have even appeared on the Q as a web cam guest.

this programming it the right for the market

LOGO has delayed for another 4 months as they are not ready to compete with the quality of programming that the Q has.

we now have 2 carriers with more to follow.

do you dd you will see the potential.

well i have so much faith because Q is targeting an untapped market. and they are basically the first of their kind. if you ever invested in any tech stocks you would know the company that has some brand new technology is the one that goes up. same thing with Q. they have this idea that gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transexuals deserve to have their own network. u see now velveeta?

Velveeta..check out some of the old threads for some great DD assembled in one place. The first few pages of this thread are great, thanks to Ric (probably the best assemblage of Q related DD...pages of it):

http://www.allstocks.com/stockmessageboard/ubb/Forum8/HTML/010134.html

And 1Big was kind enough to start this thread off with some DD, as well:

look bud no one has the answers or they would be posted all over.

you are investing in a penny stock the price is going to fluctuate alot and is not always going to do what we want it to do.

if you cant handle it then get out. you should not have more invested then you can afford to loose.

i know there are people holding this thing from close to 2 cents. that is the way the ball bounces. no one has forced anyone to buy or sell.

You dont loose any money on the stock untill you actually sell the stock.

my shares are holding even if we hit .0020

that is my decision and i dont expect anyone to do it because i would.

i know it hurts to look at red in your portfolio, as i have been there.

go back and read the dd pages that snoozen has posted and reevaluate your possition.

that is the best advice i can give you here.
