can anyone explain to me a trade that shows up for 500 shares?
especially at a price of 0.001 - 0.004 range.

who in there right mind is trading $2.00 of a stock at one time?
I've even seen a stock in which the entire day, only 350-750 shares were traded, and the price was a micro penny. (0.003)
any info would be helpful.

Oh of course, its a Market maker signal and someone please correct me if im wrong but this is what they mean: These are MM signals.

100 > I need shares

200 > I need shares badly but dont take it down to get them.

300 > Take the price down to get shares....

400 > Trade it sideways based on Supply and Demand

500 > Gap one way or the other, usually to the direction of the 500 trade. Sometimes -if in the middle -keep the price right where it is.

There are also those times where the mm's fill a small bit of your order then raise the ask.

both trades were about 2 1/2 hours apart.

both at 0.05 each trade.
but this isn't the only example, i've seen it many times.
