Patrick Herda, president and chief executive officer of Nuclear Solutions, Inc., will address a group brought together by Defense Today and King Publishing for its conference on "Maritime Domain Awareness: Integrated Sensor Strategies for Port/Ship Security," being held in Washington, DC October 18th and 19th.
The expert officials will talk about how the U.S. Coast Guard, Navy, port authorities, and other official groups are implementing "integrated sensor technologies for port and ship WMD (weapons of mass destruction) security.
Herda, a pioneer and patent holder in direct energy conversion nuclear technologies, is an expert in dealing with nuclear threats and the technologies needed to secure the United States against such threats. He will discuss new sensor concepts under development by Nuclear Solutions to screen for the presence of shielded nuclear weapons.
Herda is also experienced in dealing with why conventional approaches tend to fail, while new approaches, according to the Nuclear Solutions official, "could significantly increase the level of protection from nuclear threats."
Herda brings many years of entrepreneurial business and finance background with scientific and technical aptitude from years of experience with technically oriented companies, focused on operational development, fiscal planning, product development, marketing, management, organization, industrial development, and process control. He is also a member of the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management, the International Association for Energy Economics, and the American Nuclear Society.

Good morning to all out there on allstock's. Well it looks like this might be doing something as it is up .015. Maybe it will keep creeping up slowly a penny here and a penny there and before you know it, a new 52 week high. Would'nt that be nice?

nsol is hitting a high of .50 and still shows climbing. I am still holding but not for long got in at .26 almost doubling my money today. YEAH YEAH

I got into NSOL @ .50 on friday and held over the weekend, I was scared out this AM @ .60 for a nice $180 after commish just to watch it break the 52 week high again.

> WASHINGTON, Oct. 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nuclear Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:NSOL) released a statement concerning ongoing business development activities in the weapons detection area.
In order to enhance the company's developing presence and market potential in the area of weapons detection products, the company is planning to complement its activities in the early-stage development of nuclear weapons detection technology with the addition of fully developed products for remote detection and disruption of concealed conventional explosive devices, both mobile and fixed.
"The detection and disruption systems that we plan to incorporate into our technology portfolio for the homeland security market were developed to remotely detect and disrupt or detonate terrorist explosive devices, such as IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) and roadside bombs, within safe and manageable distances for both civilian and military personnel," said Patrick Herda, company CEO.
These advanced products, Herda explained, could become a significant part of Nuclear Solutions' technology portfolio in 2005. "However, we will need to raise additional money to bring them to the homeland security market here and abroad," he said. "The exact requirements will be determined after negotiations with the detection system licensors and suppliers are completed."
The company will provide details on these potential products and their funding requirements over the next few months.
Additionally, further updates concerning the development of the company's shielded nuclear weapon detection technology are expected within the next week.
