Hello, y'all. Didn't mean to abandon the team. I've just been exhausted. Won't let myself get too excited till something good happens. The last time we had good news (RCN) I lost $4,000 in a couple days. That hurt. I'm holding my million real tight now!
All y'alls work is very appreciated, I just had to leave my computer and join the world again to make up for losing $20,000 in 2 months from stocks. And I was getting huge (hugh ) zits! You can't get too laid with those.

I feel your pain. Took a beatin' over the last two months my self. Can't wait for Summer to be over. Love the start of Fall trading. I remember a time when I loved the color red, Loved weekends and Loved Summer. All that has changed. Go Squeeeeeze a zit or two and sit back and get ready to make up for some of that lost money. If it gets you nothin' else........It may just get you laid.

1Bigtip, appreciate your chart input, it is definetly one of my weak points, but I am getting better at it, and when someone points out a chart and the trend of a rise from a falling wedge it helps to see and understand what is going on. For anyone who didn't see this, from Market Pulse;

strange thing happened yesterday, I got home last night to find a message on my recorder from a Comcast rep in reply to my e-mail request for Q television network, I request it at least three or four times a month. I e-mailed them I was planning a move to the Philadelphia area and wanted to know when they would start braodcasting the Q. The woman said that "they do not have plans in the near future to carry the Q Television Network in the greater Philadelphia area." It probably means nothing, but she didn't say we do not have any info on Q, or that they never heard of it before, and it is the first time I ever got a call back from them. I think it does mean that the phone calls and e-mails do raise the awareness in the Q, so keep up the corespondence with your cable company, so no one will be able to say "we never heard of them"

ROTFLMAO @ Winsum! I've been called many things, but 'normal' is not one of 'em. Work and weather have kept me out of sorts, but I should be back full force in the middle of next week.

That is great, but by the reaction of the Time Warner Guy in Palm Springs I have to ask myself - "What the hell have these sales guys been doing if this guy didn't even know about it." or maybe he didn't want to look bad in front of his customers?

Morning all...must say that the article got certain parts of my clothing into a bunch today...
I just wrote Desert Sun a response letter. I told them that they may want to phone Time Warner again...there are now certainly more than 6 requests...told Desert Sun that there are full mailboxes requesting QTN...that I'd tried last night...Also asked them to please confirm the location of QTN headquarters...That I had just spoken to their receptionist two days ago...that they were remaining in building, just moving to larger offices.
That article was not written well. The reporter does not sound very thorough or knowledgeable at all. The tone also sounded biased to me because, in my opinion, the tone was negative. Perhaps I'm wrong...could be Desert Sun isn't so keen on having a g/l network in the area. Don't know...either way, I wrote them.
Hope Frank is doing well. Maybe if he's feeling better he can phone this reporter back today and offer up new information about carriers, programming or demands for QTN!

RCN told us today they have been “inundated” with calls requesting Q Television and they are very excited about the September launch. They will begin promoting Q Television on their stations.
We have received approximately 100,000 calls over the past two months on our 800 number. We appreciate everybody's support and positive outlook on QTN, please be patient with us as our network gets on it's way.

Bet when the Time Warner staff checks the messages this morning they will be calling QTN!! (lol) They'll be smelling GREEN with all of the potential revenue that Q will bring in...Bet Frank and Time Warner guys get together "REAL" soon!
This all bodes well for our QTN...Desert Sun needs to get a good grip...looks like news such as this may be out of their league.

Poot Poot--that's what I thought...but was trying to be nice and not come out and just call him a LIAR! I would never say that McHahon might not be telling the TRUTH so that he can try to gain some leverage during negotiations...playing it too cool.

Yep..did see it and very appreciative. But I think the article itself could have been even better.
Desert Sun will probably write a follow up article once it receives reader's responses and gets new info from Time Warner...new headline would be something like: "Time Warner Flooded With QTN Requests!"

Just think...looking like Frank and QTN are holding all the good cards in the game of negotiations.....QTN has tons of people bombarding TW with QTN requests!! That's about as good as it gets here folks. Callers and emailers have just given Frank a powerful negotiation tool: Subscribers = $$$!
