CYOS: checked out what all the talk was about. At under 3 cents, this stock seems to have a very thin float, so it moves up pretty fast, pretty easily when buys are coming in. It's a good ride and I'm guessing the interest is spreading because its just starting to move upwards from its 52 week low. Chart technicals look poised for a breakout, its been as high as around 17 cents before. Only problem i see is that it moves up fast, so gotta trade accordingly. All the best to those planning to get in. Company website: www.cyopsystems.com

what makes you think it will goto 17 cents? I don't think 17 cents is likely, however, looking at the time and sales for today's trades, you're right it is volatile and it can go high. 17 cents i highly doubt, but with enough luck it can break 6 cents on one day.

I've played this stock in the past. It moves up mad fast. If someone was to pound the ask in the morning like MHAD today, this has similar potential to rocket. I dont know what the exact float is, I know its low enough and moves like crazy. Am ready to play this all over again

This news PR here is their most important PR, which shows the true potential of teh company. After carefully reading the president's statements and calling the company, I have a feeling they have what it takes to become a very successful company. They are marketing themselves well in various lucrative regions in the world, and by the end of this year they should have significantly high revenues, and the stock price should be way way higher than it is now.

CYOP Systems Comments on Growth of Asian Online Games Population, Broadband Access and Love of Video Games Fueling Expansion to $720 Million This Year
Thursday April 29, 1:57 pm ET

VANCOUVER, Bristish Columbia, April 29, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- CYOP Systems International Inc. (OTC BB:CYOS.OB - News), the leading provider of online video games and tournaments of skill, commented today on the estimated growth projections of the online gaming industry in Asia.

The market for online games in the Asia-Pacific region was $640m in 2003, and will grow to $720m in 2004. Government support of broadband and the PC availability phenomenon both contributed to the runaway growth of online gaming in Korea, which is now being replicated in hyper-growth markets Taiwan and China.
Population-wise, China's Internet had more than 22 million new users on the Web last year, bringing the total number of Chinese online to 80 million. That makes China second only to the U.S. in Internet subscribers, however, by 2006, it is expected to overtake the U.S., with 153 million Chinese online. The surge is being driven by several factors, including a strong economy that's letting people buy PCs, and the opportunity the Internet provides to skirt China's tight government censorship. China also has over 40,000 PC cafes nationwide, mirroring the South Korean Internet phenomenon in the late 1990s. Out of fourteen hours per month spent online, the average Chinese Internet user spends eight hours playing games.

The recently published IGDA 2004 Online Gaming White Paper (http://www.igda.org/online/) reported that South Korea has demonstrated the fastest growth in the online gaming market, which is being driven by the highest broadband penetration rates in the world, with over 73% of households with multi-megabit access and PC cafes on nearly every street corner.

The Company believes that there are no major companies marketing skill video games in Asia yet, and that there exists an opportunity for CYOP to establish a foothold. As an early adopter, CYOP believes that it will be able to capture a significant market share of the industry within the next twelve months, and gross profit margins after direct costs and revenue splits will be in the 20% range.

For example:

Percentage of market
share (2004) Revenues Gross Profit Margin
1/2% $3.6 million $720,000
1% $7.2 million $1.4 million
2% $14.4 million $2.88 million
5% $36 million $7.2 million

Patrick Smyth, President of CYOP, commented, ``I-Gaming is flourishing in English-speaking countries, however, a tremendous market has been undervalued in regions that are realizing formidable growth in online access. Out of the key world trading blocks, China and Korea lead the number of online gamers on the planet. China's strong economy and a large population, inclined to spend its disposable income on leisure goods and services, makes it a natural objective for our growth. Korea's fondness for gaming and the status that its society puts on this form of entertainment make it a primary country in which to market games. We believe that the Asia is set for several years of strong growth driven by advanced infrastructure, increased Internet access, and a population that, simply put, loves to play online games.''

I haven't read the SEC filings, just checking to make sure if CYOS has any dilution issues?

Nope, CYOS has no convertible debenture/dilution aspects whatsoever. Their float is 12 million, the outstanding shares are 142 million, mostly in the hands of insiders and insituitional investors.

subpennygirl, there is very little resistance in this stock. There is some at 0.04, but that's where the 200 DMA is. Once a stock breaks past the 200 DMA (in this case at around 0.04) its usually a very powerful breakout. For eg, UVCL last october, once it broke past the 200 DMA went from around 2 cents or so to 17 cents in one day! Basically watch for a breakout near 0.04.

shaggy, I'll answer your question, but I hope you weren't being sarcastic, when you called me "mr technical analysis", your tone seemed a little rude.
Do the charts tell me how high it will go? well, do the charts tell the future? NO of course not.
How high do I THINK it will go? well, take a look at level 2's, take into account thefloat on CYOS. On Friday it traded between 2.5 cents and 3.7 cents on just 6 mill volume, not all of it buys. Im guessing this week, especially monday morning there will be a lot of buys, and 4 cents should be an easy target to hit very early. There is a little resistance at 4 cents, and thats werhe the 200 DMA is. When a stock hits the 200 DMA it goes into an explosive breakout. Case in point: UVCL last Sept. It went from around 2 cents to 17 cents in a single day, I believe it surpassed its 200 dma around 3 cents or so, i may not be exact but you get the point. So in the case of CYOS, i see a good chance of the 200 DMA being broken, and the stock breaking loose to 7 or 8 cents, either monday, or sometime during the week. I think CYOS's trading levels are gonna be high from now on.
Does that answer your question?

oh and shagggy, I usually trade based on logic and technicals. I rarely trade off "gut feeling", and when i do, i dont tell other people to go by it. Why did you assume I would give you an answer based on gut feeling?

200 DMA means 200 day moving average. Stocks which break the 200 DMA end up having an explosive breakout. There is a whole theory behind this, which is too long to explain here at this late hour, but i would encourage you to go up and look at it on the net, google it or something

My gut feeling says this might be a gapper in the morning. I'm not sure, but looking at the time and sales for Friday, it seems to me that the stock moves up on the littlest of buying pressure. I dont see how it could open at its previous closing price of 2.5 cents, 2.7, 3.0 is more likely.

Navia, all i can tell you is that there is a strong possibility of it gapping open tomorrow. For eg I have my order in for between 0.025 and 0.03, as do a couple of others. I think the orders placed the night before might cause a pre market gap. I can see this gapping open to 0.03,0.032, but not more than that. Then its a matter of watching how the stock behaves. It reacts quickly and hard to buying and selling. Bear that in mind and trade likewise.

Good time to have found this pick. Its close to its low and can only go up from here. It's hard to find stocks that are close to the 200 DMA. UVCL, IVOC all exploded when they crossed the 200 DMA. I hope this does the same and explodes like crazy.

Since I've played this in the past, here are some experiences i would like to share, especially for newbies:

- buying causes the ask to climb like crazy. Expect a gapper Monday morning.
- Its already playing around thebollinger bands and as someone here pointed out, its near the DMA too. If there's a lot of action in the first half hour, CYOS will breakout at the end of the day.
- It's been at 15 cents before, and some people say it will got that high, BUT I DOUBT IT, NOT TOMORROW AT LEAST. Expect more like 6-8 cents.

Thats just my opinion. Whoever seems to think it's going higher than 8 cents, good for them I hope it does. Maybe over a few days it might, you never know. I personally will sell at around 0.06, whenever it gets there.

Good call on the .06, if we pass .0412 tomorrow its clear to .06 for 3rd level of resistance. I am hoping to get in at .032 which will be caused by the gap tomorrow because 2 major yahoo groups have this stock alerted to their massive groups. Bullishpenny and pennystocks have a lot of members and this stock if pressured will move hard and fast, so I am hoping to get in early for maximum gains.
Best luck to all....lets go .06 or higher

2 things will make my situation ideal tomorrow:
A) im able to exit CMKX, been holding to too long, hope it moves up a little tomorrow
B) CYOS breaks out like discussed here.....8 cents would be nice.
C) a couple of my other picks should do decently, let's see.

I think if CYOS hits 0.04, the MM's shoudl bescrambling to cover their shorts, causing a pop. basically between 0.03 to 0.04 is the squeeze, if we can get it to 0.04, we can get it to pop. All the best to all!

Do not consider this bashing by any means to future CYOS investors, but I am going to warn you of the dangers of trading something with such a low float. Beware not to buy too high, because just as quickly this thing is going to rise, it is inevitably going to retrace because profit-takers have the potential of stopping runs because sales so greatly affect pps. Beware of chasing and don't jump in too high. Just a thought for the newbies reading this. JMHO GLTA

Navia,
good call - I TOTALLY agree that the resistance @ .04 is weak. I'm sure that with the MEGA buying going on last week through Friday, along with the 2 Yahoo groups with a combined 2900 members getting CYOS as their 'weekly pick', that this thing is gonna BLAST through that piddly .04 area, and I plan on getting in first thing Monday. Good luck to all here.
