Global Explorations Revenue Potential Explained
PrimeZone via COMTEX
May 12, 2004 9:48:09 AM
RESTON, Va., May 12, 2004 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) --
Global Explorations Inc. (Pink Sheets:GXXL) has compiled a list of the most commonly asked questions of its technology and revenue potential. The questions and their answers are listed below;
Q: Global has acquired a database of more than 600,000 cell phone numbers. How will the company produce revenue from this database?
A: The Company shall now begin sending promotional/marketing material to these 600,000 individuals and shall receive payment from advertisers.
Q: What are the advantages of marketing to the company's database?
A: The promotional/marketing material will be 'seen by 600,000 people.'The text message will go directly to the user's cell phone.
A: The other advantage is that companies can now send information at anytime. With email marketing if a user is not connected to the internet they will not receive any info. All information sent by the company shall be delivered to users'cell phones, which most people carry with them at all times. This is the key difference! Companies can now utilize this database for sales at anytime for brick &mortar stores or websites.
Q: 600,000 do not seem like a lot of numbers. A number of email marketing companies have 10 million email addresses. How would you compete with them?
A: Out of 10 million emails only 7% of average gets through the spam filters, which is 700,000. Of this around 50% is deleted without even being looked at. Conversion rates are then even lower.
Q: How will Global continue to expand its database of numbers?
A: Global is in discussion with a number of websites which will utilize its software to capture and organize cell phone numbers for their users.
Global Explorations Inc is quoted on NQB Pink sheets as 'GXXL.'

Yea, I thought it was a crap idea too, but evidently they can do it, and will. Only 600,000 cell numbers though that might be read, a 2% response would be 12,000 people, think that's enough to draw advertisers? I would think they would need 600M. I like the fact that it's just off its 52 week low, and has traded at .011 as recently as 5/11/04. I intend to watch it. It's cheap enough.

Why isn't there another thread on it. I did a search and found no thread with GXXL in the title. I don't doubt you have looked into it, but besides it being a pinky what's wrong with it. If I looked to see who was running it would I know him? Just asking, if you have reasons I would like to know them.

I was playing it because it was a good runner.Got in at .0034 and out at .0044.The rally lasted about an hour or so, and it's been going down since. All I did was a quick DD on it before buying it.When I did more DD over night I just didn't like what I saw.
In the old filings it says it's run by someone going to school to get their Masters and it looks like it's run out of a house. Next I did a search on the email address of investor relations. It goes to a $19.95 host your own business site. That's a bad sign to me.
Just take the email address and drop the name and add w's, the site will come up.
All this doesn't mean it won't go back up,but it raises red flags to me..IMO

I own a business and I pay a guy $50 to host my website, who it is actually listed with and what that fee really is, I don't know. Sure that isn't the registration of the URL fee? I understand what your saying, but .0014 is lot cheaper than .0044. I see it's trading at .0019 right now, it did trade at .0014 though today. I haven't bought yet, thanks for the warning.

Will off topic... Do you pay him $50/month to host?

Go over to the RB board for GXXL.Last time I looked, there was some guy buying up the shares. He said he had millions.I think he's the only one buying..
If GXXL puts out a good PR, MOMO players will jump on it even if it's just a shell, and it will run...

He would be doing just fine too, this traded down to it's 52 week low, .0013, and has been as high as .0024 today, on volume of: 22,649,200

Well I guess a bathroom is a step above a mail drop that some of the others work out of...... It did run good. They've been speading the word pretty hard saying it's a victim of naked shorting. Atul needs to put a PR out to help support the price. It will be interesting to watch next week.....

No I didn't get in either.I just didn't like GXXL after I did a bunch of DD on it.There doesn't seem to be anything to the company. I guess that doesn't matter when it's a cheap stock, but I had rather miss a profit than take a loss. You should check out the IHub board if you haven't already. There's some pretty good traders in some of the groups..

my opinion only from what i've read here... using software to scour the web, grab cell phone numbers whose databases were recently deregulated and are available for public data mining, and organizing & selling them can easily be run out of a closet. it can also be very lucrative selling to data mining companies if done properly. ~BB

BB-I don't think it matters if the company is anything or not.I keep up on most of the boards and looks like a big MOMO campaign is starting over the 3 day weekend.
One of the better posts ******************************************** GXXL, looks like MMs scrambling to cover...
That was schwab who was the highest bidding MM in afterhours still trying to get as many shares as he could. Bottom line, this is how I see it. The rumor about MMs being naked short on GXXL is apparently very true. And todays volume is going to be nothing like the volume you will see with Monday or Tuesday. I think we will see a day with volume over 100 million traded, just based on how today went and we only started running the last 1 1/2 hrs of trading. This is all over everyone's radar now, every board is talking about the short position in GXXL, and not to mention that everyone has a 3 day weekend to think about GXXL and how bad they want to get in for the pop up. Look at the chart as well, beautiful, and at the low still. We ended at high of the day with huge volume, so yes I see a very big week next week. Still an easy double or triple from .003, with more likely a run moving over .01 and back up into higher ground. Again, that all depends on how short the MMs are on GXXL. Either way, glad to be in and not sitting on the outside with the 3 day weekend. Good luck and hold tight on GXXL, lets say how bad these MMs want shares. Do your DD on GXXL and make a decision

RESTON, Va., Jun 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Global Explorations Inc. (Pink Sheets:GXXL) shareholders will receive a special share distribution in the Feinstein Report Inc (PinkSheets:FNRP).
"For each 10 shares of GXXL, shareholders shall receive 1 share of FNRP. The last trade of FNRP was at 1.47. The record date has not been set yet but it should be sometime in July," stated Atul Mehta, PR Manager for Global Explorations Inc.
"This is not a reverse of any sort. Everyone gets to keep all their shares of GXXL and in addition are given shares in FNRP.
"We care about our shareholders and are committed to maximizing shareholder value. We would like to reward all our shareholders. What better way to do it then to give them stock of a company that should be on the BB relatively soon.
"The dynamics of the share distribution also have to be worked out. All shares received in FNRP are restricted shares. If all regulatory conditions are met, restricted shares will become free-trading after one year," continued Atul Mehta.

RESTON, Va., July 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Global Explorations Inc. (Pink Sheets:GXXL) technology will power Xcelarator Marketing Inc (XCMGF). Xcelarator Marketing Inc. markets games for game consoles such as XBOX, PS2 and GameCube.

That grabbed my attention too. Does anyone know when the date is that you have to own this stock to get the spin-off shares? It seems to good to be true. I own 528,000 shares, and a 10 for 1 spinoff would give me 52,800 shares. At $1.75 PPS that is getting a free $92,400. I would love it if that was true, especially for an initial $3700 investment, plus I still have my GXXL shares, but something doesn't seem right. Any thoughts?

Thanks Will, that would be awesome if it is true. I would imagine that if it were though, the PPS should be going straight up until that date is announced. I guess its a waiting game. Its probably not too late for people to still buy in and get those shares. That 5 million share buy at close would make over $875,000.

They're restricted for a year I think. So, yes you're probably right, the price would drop, unless they have some very profitable business going on.

Yea, I thought about that and you are probably right. I imagine by the time you could sell those shares, they would be worth a lot less by then, plus, the PPS would drop like crazy on that day because everyone would be trying to sell them all at the same time. They would be free shares to everyone.
