I know this has been posted before but I never had level 2 so it went in one eye and out the other. Would someone be please be kind enough to post the symbols and what they mean. I am assuming that the 500 shares of CMKM was a signal. Thanks-Debi

Signals between MMs... 100 > I need shares 200 > I need shares badly but dont take it down to get em 300 > Take the price down to get shares.... 400 > Trade it sideways based on Supply and Demand 500 > Gap one way or the other, usually to the direction of the 500 trade. Sometimes -if in the middle -keep the price right where it is."

OK I'm a novice, does this mean when the ask price goes to any one of these amounts for a brief second, that's the signal they're sending? Or if that's the amount of shares? TIA
Also what does bump mean? ha

It is believed that when a trade goes through for the previously mentioned amount of SHARES 100, 200 etc.. that the MM's are sending signals(communicating)between each other. People write BUMP when they post something new to an older post hence the old post is now bumped up to the top of the posting board. Posts: 3897 | From: New York | Registered: Jan 2004
