Virtual Laser Keyboard Ships to Industry Analysts via COMTEX
May 11, 2004
PHOENIX, May 11, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
iBIZ Technology Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: IBZT), an innovative manufacturer and distributor of accessories for personal digital assistants (PDAs) and other handheld devices, announced today the first production units of the new Virtual Laser Keyboard manufactured by Enterprise Capital and powered by VKB's technology have shipped to industry analysts for review. iBIZ awaits FCC and Laser certifications before shipping to customers/end-users.
'The Virtual Laser Keyboard is a new and exciting product, and the industry has responded to the technology overwhelmingly. As with all new product development, industry certifications have to be met and cleared prior to shipping to customers,'commented Ken Schilling, President and Chief Executive Officer, iBIZ Technology Corp. 'We were extremely excited to receive the first shipments ten days ago; however, the product certifications are still in the final approval stages with the necessary agencies. In that regard, customer orders will be filled only after receipt of those proper certifications and approvals. On the receipt of those product certifications, we will begin to ship to customers with back orders dating back to January of this year with a compatible PDA or computer currently supported by the software drivers. We will continue to fill orders moving forward as the software drivers continue to be expanded, allowing support of other devices. In that regard, both driver support and product certifications have been an on going process as new devices continue to enter the market. Compatible devices will be listed on our web site as well as news on product certifications.'
Schilling further commented, 'We do not have a time line at the moment for product certification approvals; however, we will keep our customers informed via e-mail, updates on our web site, and through press releases as quickly as we have confirmed dates.'

That has nothing to do with FCC and Laser certifications.... Sounds like the product still hasn't been government approved. That's probably why they were made overseas. Any idea how long such certifications can take?

It doesn't look like these guys have this product approved by the FCC...And the approval in itself could take a while. If it takes too long all the buzz with this product would have phased itself out by then and we won't be able to get the returns we would like. But...I'm a gambling man so I will pick up some additional shares..what the heck! I might be wrong...(hopefully I am)

That's my concern... anybody know how long an FCC approval takes? What about the Laser approval? Kind of misleading the way the PR's and websites have promoted these things.
That should answer the "have they charged cards yet?"... I don't see how when they haven't the government approvals yet. I wouldn't expect much to be on the next financials at this rate.
Not bashing... I'm long on this. I hope I'm wrong.

I am a hardware deisign engineer producing products for sale worldwide and I wanted to shed some light on the FCC and other goverment approvals..... First of all, I do own shares and have been holding for about two months...
In order to sell any product anywhere in the world it must pass several agency approvals that vary by region or nation.
In the US, products must meet FCC and safety approvals (this is usually indicated by the UL or ETL logos for the product safety). The tested sample must represent the finished product but it does not have to be a production model. In other words they could have started the process before receiving the units from over seas. Testing could take a week, if all goes well, with final approval and paperwork taking another two weeks.
For most of Europe products must meet the CE product requirements as well as safety, again this could take two to three weeks.
Australia, China and other also have their own requirements...

I must be the only one who shorted the stock @ .0349 and told everybody approx 6 to 8 pages back and cited a target of .0193. Price achieved the target as expected. Technical pullback is targeting minimum retest of .0255 to .0275 and maximum of .03. After 50% retracement to .0255 bears are still sitting on top of the price and lower price is expected.

I seem to recall a PR that said they had recieved the VKB and were shipping to customers? wouldn't this PR catch him lying about the shipping status and be some kind of sec violation? I just dont know thats why I am asking. Posts: 146 | From: bagram air base, afganistan | Registered: May 2004

Good lord..this thread has went to crap. Read over the new manuals that are posted on the website. They are very interesting, and detailed. There is no one that can get me to sell anytime soon(especially since I am in around .04! LOL), there is just too much potential for me. I guess with the down trend we have had recently we see who is really into this company. I can't wait to see some posters eat their words, and all the new people come onto this thread saying how great this company is blah blah blah when the pps goes back up. Anyway, check out the manuals they are cool. http://www.ibizcorp.com/support/downloads/vkb/Manuals/Windows/VKBWin%20v1.1.pdf

Dude, you guys calm the F down... Geeze, I hope you don't go through your whole life like this. In buisness things happen, if they did have to delay a week or two because of test and approval give them that. I am also sure that is why they are sending out "Test" units. These would fall in a "market" test unit and may not be tied in with any certifications.

Gimme a break..I can't stand people who post "I have umpteen millions shares". I ain't the smartest person on Earth, but I sure as hell wouldn't have over $100,000 in a company that I think sucks and is run by a liar, but that's just my opinion. Unbelievable.
