U4: When looking for RealTime OTC LVL 2 Quotes, or looking for a service, what should we look for if we want OTC?
As a second question, what is the cheapest per month service or a good value service for us guys just starting out that has Realtime quotes, lvl's 1 AND 2, and good charting w/ a decent streamer and supporting tools? It would just be a 'get me started' service till I start making some bigger money

MINE SHOWS OTCBB BUT NEVER PINKS THAT IS THE CASE WITH ALL I THINK. WHEN I ACTUALL GO IN TO PURCHASE IT IS THEN VISIBLE. IF BUYING TOOL ALLOWS "ARE U SURE U WANT THIS" SECOND CHANCE, U CAN BACK OUT. LETS U CHECK ACTUALLY BID/ASK THIS WAY.

Got OTCcharts today and watching the FXGP on the top 400 panel. Where is the level 2 quote for FXGP. OR am I looking at it? Thanks-I thin I am getting cross eyed watching this thing.

All, Alphatrade.com is nice site with great features, but I am in agreement with dadardog that OTCharts currently is the better of the two regarding OTC/Pink sheet stocks. IMO. OTCharts is specific to OTC/PinkSheet stocks only, Alphartrade covers the whole spectrum. Alphatrade does have some items that OTCharts does not of which I like is the real-time charting and the real-time level II MM quotes. You can view the level II MM quotes for a particular stock you are interested in while reviewing the real-time ticker for that stock. OTCharts has the real-time custom stock filters which I did not see on alphatrade. They certainly both have their strong and weak points and they are both relatively the same monthly price. But I like the streaming 400 screen and the custom filters. I will certainly suggest to OTCharts that they add the real-time charting and Level II MM (so I can see all of the bid/ask MM prices for a single stock). BTW I am not trying to promote either of the two. I am just a computer guy who has the ability to work out of the house, for the most part, when I see something I like it never hurts to suggest. Anyways that is my two cents worth on the subject.

Ameritrade will show OTC Lvl II but it will appear under the Nasdaq label. They will not show pinkies though.

Wait, I just reread your original message and it seems to me that you are looking for a "Last Sale" type of feature where all of the trades for a stock are listed as they occur. Lvl II is where you can see the B/A of the MM's involved in a stock, and what their prices/asking prices are...

ZO-the customer service # for OTCcharts is 1-866-620-1303 They are very helpful and willing to take the time to help you understand the system and how to get it to work on your computer. When you log on there is a little applet box with a few options. I used the Top 400 and launched all of the others too. I just tried it today and I still don't know how to use it properly. I am sure you will get plenty of help from others who have a handle on it.

Marcidius: I have used the real-time price chart(the chart that appears when you click on a stock symbol) but I have yet to find a real-time MACD or RSI chart. I use those two charts all of the time to time entry and exit points as well as the MACD histogram. During the day you do not have the time to chart the direction of a stock based upon Hi/Low ticks as you can say using stockcharts charts which I use to review my picks for the following day. What would be realy cool would be a real-time candlestick chart to view. Wouldn't that be nice to plot direction... Posts: 49 | Registered: Jun 2003
