RAVEN This selloff is an annual tool to clear portfolios and funds of losers. The "expert" you are reading has the opinion that it will not occur this year. Consider that we are not a year out of a bad market bottom and that many stocks will never come back. Why would this year not be greater. IMO you will see this happen as normal, don't know how it affects pennys, because don't buy many.The dollars sold from losers will immediately find a new home elsewhere. I believe many experts are thinking this year will be a good year and most will want to be in market. Van

VNGNTN1, yes it says it won't occur..And I say we will see it in Micro Penny Land..
If you look at my two candidates, you will see people lost a lot of money on these..And what I believe is some of this selling in December is related to tax issue..I might be wrong..The reason I opened this thread is to find the micros which dropped significantly In Dec. with no bad News..

I agree with that but there will be other players and traders like me bottom-fishing and drive the prices to November levels which means 100% returns..

RAVEN Possibly correct My experience is watching the big funds work thier magic on the market. Aditionally IF you are only monitoring "penny" boards you won't acquire a broader picture. Ican assure you that the big fund guys do not look at pennys. Van

This January will be a little different. 1.-Savings accounts are deflating and industrial metals are inflating in US$ terms. In Euros, savings accounts are increasing because a lot of money is leaving the US dollars and industrial metals are deflating. Big money is starting to move money into commodities and the Euro and out of dollars. So I see the first 10 days of January as a plus, middle January as a topping out process and a slump in stock prices towards the end of January. This January effect will then repeat during the new year. Interest rates are rising, and our trade deficits will grow because we no longer are self sufficient in anything. I agree with Greenspan when he said most stocks are little more then story stocks and most so called investors are playing a "funny money" numbers game that make it look like they're building wealth but are not.-- Lets look at this board here, most stocks are story stocks that go up because suckers buy into some make believe news. The trick to these stocks is to find a fool who will pay more then what you paid.
