I was told this was the place to post.

I am increasingly active in the market (last 3 years), but it is just a hobby for me. My current holdings are on the tsx: bbd, hbc and bgo. I am confident in all of them for the long term.

However I want something for short term. All of you seem enthusiastic and keen. Know of any bargains out there? Preferably on the NYSE.

I mainly looked into canadian investment but now im looking for some quick short term action in us markets..help me out

FA, fundamental analysis, the actual "business" of the company...

We're mostly TA folk, here...Technical Analysis

FA plays a role, for sure...

what have you picked before? how did that work out?

Everything i have been doing has been long term. and i know what your thinking.. YES i am up not down. I have a good strategy, trying to get into more then one market.

i made on SC..doubled, i had hbc before too..made 50% over year and half.. now i am holding bgo, bbd, and hbc..again these are all for my long term... 2-5+ years..not afraid of riding them out..all canadian holdings...i want something from US.

yes i understand how this board generally functions and the type of information around

as i said before, im not afraid of looking into anything ... short term... basically im looking for a risky stock.. maybe take a chance more then others would

again..this is just a hobby for me

ok i guess it doesnt have to be THAT short term..

i guess in a forum like this it might be difficult to vent out the picks made by reliable sources or those just trying to see you drown.

what is your take on that on here
