I'm 20 and been increasingly active in the market (last 3 years), but it is just a hobby for me. My current holdings are on the tsx: bbd, hbc and bgo. I am confident in all of them for the long term. However I always wanted to get into some "penny stocks". You could say, "get my feet wet in different areas". Anybody got any good ideas of cheap bargains on the NYSE that i could look into? I never buy if the company does not fit my strategy and I want to tap into the international USA markets haha.

In any case, insight would be great.
Give me a good buy [Smile]

interested in energy. maybe something in the Alberta oil sands [Razz] but all of them are already quite high.

you need to post on the "Focus on NASDAQ" thread--the focus is NASDAQ, but it's open to all big boards...
