is there a limit on what the price has to be to list on the nyse, nasdaq, amex stock exchanges? so, whats the lowest price a stock can be to be listed on the major stock exchanges? do they each have a diffrent price limit? thanks for any responses.

Yes they do all have a different price.
Usually these small Co's go for the NASDAQ and the stock price is $4.00.
I think the AMEX is $3 and NY is $5.
Usually all the small priced Co"s have to have a big reverse split to get the price up that high.

thanks for the reply. i was wondering because i found this one stock ljpc. its on the nasdaq and its current price is $1.16 but, 3 weeeks ago i think it was about $4.00 so, does the company just at one time be $4 or will it be taken off the nasdaq if it stays below $4 too long? i would like to find more of these stocks in this range in the major stock exchanges. this stock i bought it at $1.05 it ended up going up to $1.24 in a week or so.
