TULSA, Okla., Jul 1, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- North American Galvanizing & Coatings, Inc. (NGA, Trade) announced today that its 2004 Annual Meeting of Stockholders has been re-scheduled for July 21, 2004. The meeting will be held in New York City. Stockholders of record as of June 29, 2004 will receive proxy materials entitling them to vote at the Annual Meeting.
In addition to the election of directors, stockholders will be asked to approve (i) a new incentive stock plan, (ii) a director stock unit program and (iii) amendments to the Company's Restated Certificate of Incorporation to effect a reverse split followed immediately by a forward split of the common stock at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
North American Galvanizing is a leading provider of hot dip galvanizing and coatings for corrosion protection of fabricated steel products.
