Dear Readers,

Please be advised of the following:

> Though now in its infancy stages, mobile gaming is about to literally explode and in terms of size we're talking a multi-billion dollar industry.

> The industry includes some major players. Nokia's involved with its game phone N-Gage, Tapwave's pushing its pricey Zodiacs, Sony's promising the world its not-until-2005 PSP, and Nintendo's scheduled to unveil its dual screen DS in May and says it will be hitting the street later in 2004.

> None of the above uses Miscosoft Windows as its operating system, nor is any gong to.

Now with the above thoughts in mind, kindly consider this: GAMETRAC, a feature-packed mobile gaming machine made by a division of Tiger Telematics, DOES use Microsoft Windows CE.NET as its operating system , which is one reason it does so much more than all the competing models. Also, GAMETRAC's going to hit the street before the Sony PSP and the DS by Nintendo.

Sparky's Conclusion: To fully capitalize on relatively-new its embedded software system, Microsoft needs to promptly get into the mobile gaming markets in a real big way.

In Sparky's opinion, the very best way for MSFT to participate sooner rather than later, and to thus capture a very much larger slice of this rapidly-expanding pie, would be to cut some sort of a deal with TIGR real fast.

And while MSFT may be a zillion times bigger than TIGR, MSFT won't enjoy so much as even a tiny sliver of this huge market without TIGR. For this reason, Sparky thinks owners of TIGR shares will find the upcoming deal very fair and very sweet.

PS - Thanks ChrisNC for your interest and reply. Sparky enjoyed all your other posts too - you're a good writer!

Regarding insider stuff at TIGR, check out SEC filings at It (Form 4s) shows that CEO Michael Carrender owns over 10 million shares and that he's bought shares as recently as this month at near-record prices.

What will be nice for the CEO, and me as well, is that I see TIGR shareholders ending up with MSFT shares that they can then sell as needed and related taxes will only be at the 15% capital gain rate!

Thanks Again!
