I'm 20 and been increasingly active in the market (last 3 years), but it is just a hobby for me. My current holdings are bbd, hbc and bgo. I am confident in all of them for the long term. However I always wanted to get into some "penny stocks". You could say, "get my feet wet in different areas". Anybody got any good ideas of cheap bargains on the tsx that i could look into? I never buy if the company does not fit my strategy.
In any case, insight would be great. Give me a good buy
interested in energy and something in oil sands but all of them are already quite high.

If it's energy you want try RSHN. Looks fairly promising for the coming months. Of course do your ownn DD, this is just my opinion. Soory about the energy pun

SPQ on the TSX is at a good purchasing low right now at 7 cents with amazing volume in case you want to dump.
The EMA puts it at 9 cents and the boilinger bands have it at 10.
I give it less than 3 weeks before it's above 9, in which case you can make an easy $1500 if you throw some $$$ at it like I did.
