I was looking into this stock and am not sure what would cause a spike in it today. I also found out the last person to buy stock in the company was TD Securities. Why would they buy into such a low penny stock? The charts look to me like it is on set for a good spike then return lower. Can someone look at them and tell me what they get from it. I think it hit a bottom yesterday and looks to be back to normal now. I could not find any press info or anything to give any reasons for these spikes.

I do believe he's talking about Bard Ventures on the tsx venture. About 8 million shares out and market cap of just over a million. Dont know much else about it other than its a small gas and oil explorer.Volume picked up a bit today mostly going down tho.

Market cap is the total value of the company. Number of shares outstanding vs. the stock price. In this case 8,000,000 shares x .14 = 1.12 million market cap. When you have a low market cap and few shares outstanding any discovery with potential will cause the stock price to move quickly.
