Don't know if these are possible, and I would bet that it isn't since it appears the L2 service runs on a completely different programming module than the rest of the feed, but I'll throw them out there anyway.

1) Currently, the MM History on the Level 2's are cleared when that window navigates away from a particular stock. Is there any way to keep a running history of this feature that can be re-loaded say, for the last 15 or so MM moves, every time the ticker is displayed in the L2 quote screen? It would be very beneficial to see this on demand when looking at any one stock pick at a glance.

2) Now that L2's are available, can we get them integrated into the watchlists, top 400, etc... to show MM depth? (i.e. how many MM's on bid / ask for the top 2 quotes) For example, maybe expanding the number of columns to show this:

Ticker|Bid|Dep1|Ask|Dep1|
HISC|.046|1|.0475|2|

Or maybe even including the next level of MM down, showing # of MM's and bid/ask separation. Example:

Ticker|Bid|Dep1|Dep2|Ask|Dep1|Dep2|
HISC|.046|1|3(-.001)|.0475|2|5(+.0005)|

This would show at a glance the MM lineup.

I realize that you have limits with what you can and can't do with the L2 service, and this my violate those limits, but I tought I'd ask.

Any other comments from Allstocks users?

Here's another suggestion for data management:

I'd love to be able to import custom alerts from an excel spreadsheet. I make great use of the export function from the filters, as I can manipulate the format easily and feed it to stockcharts.com to read charts. I'd love that process to be able to be reversed for the customized alerts (volume, PPS, etc...)

Also, how about more options for the alerts? Info like volume compared to yesterday / averages, # of trades compared to yesterday / averages, # of trades at the ask in a row, # of green upticks on the time & sales screen in a row, etc...

Dear hlniv,

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, they are entirely possible and we will definitely be implementing very similar new features to the ones you've mentioned.

We are currently changing our Level II architecture (you are correct, it currently runs on a different platform then the rest of our system). This will allow us to completely integrate our Level II data into all aspects of our platform, making for extremely unique and value-adding features.

These are very exciting times for MicrocapTrade and all of our clients. We hope to have you with us for a long time!

All the best,

Steve T.
