Morph--sell FAZ now or keep it for a while? I'm guessing BAC and the market will continue to go down a little.

Guys I gotta rethink my trading strategy right now. I got out of EGLE and ended up making a touch of money. I then got into EBAY ahead of earnings. They beat analyst estimates and it still goes down. What the heck am I doing wrong? I have been beaten down the past couple of weeks.

Guys, I'm also seeing the dollar looks like it hit bottom. This usually hurts commodities and oil a great deal. Is it time to get into FAZ or DUG and hold for a couple of weeks?

I wish I had all the answers for ya Glenn. My trading hasn't exactly a whole lot better. I'd say you needed to be a little more patient on EGLE, although that's easy to say now that we see it down, and going down more. The market is so unpredictable lately it sucks, I though for sure we would see a big drop first thing this morning. Although the day has just started, and it looks like it's going to be a down day(?). My best guesses, according to the charts, is that the market should drop at least a few hundred points in the up coming days or more, and the same with BAC, so FAZ should continue up. But I've been wrong before. We will see.

Keep in mind that October and September traditionally the WORST trading months of the year. So, what we are experiencing here is pretty normal for this time of year. November and December will get better. That's why I have just been holding and watching for the most part. Just trying to get through this crappy time of year for trading with more of an investors strategy for now. I'm not saying you can't make money trading now, but it can be damn hard. Hold your head up and drudge through for now. It will get better. Good luck to all.

Im just betting on SIRI (i hold massive amounts of shares, for me anyhow)..if it goes as i foresee..then life is good..if not ...that would not be good..I have been and remain very skeptical on all news and other "crap" that the media bombards us with...Lately im total "costanza" on all info that they try to convince/sway us to do..i guess that is why im so bearish on the market right now..i look at the charts for trading and read/listen to the "news/information" that "the man" trys to control our decisions. With that in mind, always trying to "read between the lines" as to what is their real motive in getting me to buy this or sell that...I am a huge skeptic on just about everything that is on TV and other sources...cyber vegas is a hard game if you make it hard, and easy if you make it easy..there are lots of different strategies you can loose...find something that you think works and you are comfortable with and go for it..I have always followed this..."plan your work, and work your plan. and if your plan does not work, then get a new plan" I continually look for patterns, example is "up fridays, and whatever monday does tuesday is reverse" and only trade heavey in the first and last hour of the day..that sort of stuff works for me..good luck to us

What a crazy day for the market. Not sure what the hell was going on today. Been potty training all day.
My father loaded up 1,000 shares of MT at $37.90. Lucky dog nailed the low. Sure sucks being me sitting at the high end. I will read all the posts later when I have more time.

Well, I am not so bad anymore on my EBAY and I think tomorrow it will come up some more just because the market always over-reacts to news. Not sure what the next play will be after I lose money on this one. Morpheus, I think you are in a different boat than some of us. It sounds like you are playing with lots of money whereas most of us are probably not. If you get a 1% gain, it's worth it to you. Most of us have to get at least 3-4% to cover our costs alone.
