I am not so sure about CIT. You just never know when P&D "news" will come out and send the stock in some weird direction. Too much risk for me.

Nice job on MT R1. I like your strategy on metals.
I remain long on SPF which I had taken a beating on last week. My patience seems to be paying off as I am now almost out of the red.
I also remain bullish on home builders, construction, building materials (including metals R1), and the like.
As I mentioned before, there will be correction along the way but play the long term trend and you will make money.
SPF looks really good over the next few weeks. Charts look good. Earnings are out at the end of this month. I believe they will meet or beat expectations and this one will move nicely. Nice play for all over the next 2 weeks.
In addition, if the $8000 1st time homebuyers tax credit get an extension, Look out! All homebuilder stocks will fly.
Again, all in my opinion. Good luck to all!

Your probably right on CIT Glenn, they sure seem to pump out the "news" at the right time don't they?
"Going to Australia to test some superbikes"??? Well, why don't you swing up to the Northwest and pick me up, I'll give you a hand!!!

They have to let the slow riders test them to make sure its safe for me to push their limits.
Anyways, MT....SOLD!!!! $40.30 out. Gonna dip back in again. My strategy is working pretty good. If the earnings on banks are positive Thursday, I bet it will jump another buck. AA will jump $0.60 or so. X will jump a buck. AKS will jump $0.75. NUE will jump $0.80. That is saying positive news Thursday.
CIT is a idiot stock. Its only worth 1,000 shares of holding that you can aford to lose.
FSII....happy you listened to me on that. $1.59. Not sure where I would of made more money....Shorting FSII yesterday at $1.90ish and covering now or riding MT up. Hmmmm....???
Still haven't made it back to bed. Gonna be a long night tonight.
MT...gonna place re-entry order at $40.

I love it! He is right, I gotta go make sure the bike will work well enough for R1Man. Actually, we are thinking about getting on the 2010 Suzuki GSXR 1000 next year so I need to go validate them ahead of time.

I listen to Bloomberg all day and a lot of people are coming on now saying equities are way overpriced. Most are saying they are gonna keep gaining for at least a couple weeks, then the bottom will fall out.

I will call today. DOW gains 75-80 points to around 10,100. Friday, sell off, next week...big drops.
I haven't paid much attention to current events or who's earnings are good or bad...blah blah blah. But just using my sleepy predictions. LOL. Whose your daddy???
Morpheus....sometimes the sleepy see clearly. Hold your shorts now....you might break even next week....maybe. But think DUG.
Anyways....AA is gonna flatline....???? Was thinking a easy $0.20 gain to $0.50 gain. We will see. X and AKS are showing higher bid over close. Have to see how things pan out. Ok...4:11am...see you all in 5 hours or so. LOL...hey, I have 2 weeks off coming...I'll sleep some then.
One last thing: Sweetest day is Saturday. I was told at work that Sweetest day is for us men. Valentines day is for the women. So lets all kick back while women care for us for once. Yeah right....I always got in trouble if I missed either holiday. Ok...bed time.

Be careful when you pay for the one time fee, it's only for the life of the receiver you own unless they changed their rules. I checked it out a year or so ago figuring I could save quite and get rid of the montly fees. Both the wife and I have had a reciever go bad, plus if you buy a new car and don't keep that reciever your out that lifetime fee. I could be wrong but ask before you sign up.
I believe your wrong. We talked about it last night at work. They said you keep it and the service gets transfered. Simple answer...call any dealership and ask.
No, It's not for your life only the receiver. This is right off their terms and conditions.
9. Lifetime Subscription Plan: A "Lifetime Subscription" is one that continues for the life of the Receiver equipment. A Lifetime Subscription is not transferable if it is associated with a Receiver installed by an automaker or an automotive dealer in a vehicle, except in the event the original Receiver associated with that Lifetime Subscription is stolen, accidentally damaged or if, in the sole discretion of SIRIUS XM Radio Inc., it is defective. A Lifetime Subscription associated with a home, portable, or dock & play Receiver is transferable from one Receiver to another Receiver, up to a maximum of three (3) times. Each permitted transfer of a Subscription is subject to a transfer fee. If you transfer a Lifetime Subscription from one Receiver to another or from one person to another, you will be charged a transfer fee. The current transfer fee is set forth in these Terms. No transfer fee will be charged for the transfer of a Lifetime Subscription associated with a Receiver installed by an automaker or an automotive dealer if, in the sole discretion of SIRIUS XM Radio Inc., the Receiver is defective. Lifetime Subscriptions are nonrefundable. You may cancel a Lifetime Subscription but if you cancel during the first year of service you will be charged a cancellation fee set forth in these Terms.

I'm watching FNM today, might be something there. If it goes past $1.56 there's more potential for it to keep going for a while.

J, that sounds like a load of crap. I asked that guy at work last night again and he said his can be transfered. That is why he bought it. So after reading this, maybe someone lied to him. He said he payed $550 for the lifetime. Maybe they have a different version of lifetime. Who knows...but that is sneaky.
CIT....WTF!!! More P+D crap. $1.19
Market is doing the opposit so far of what I expected. Still think it will close up but not as high as I thought. LVS...there you go Morpheus...now your up 2 bucks.
AA....down $379 at $14.15. Guess I'm on the wrong side of the fence. The other steel companies are all down except AKS. So, AKS=Short Opportunity???

I knew CIT would go up, they hit $1.25 in pre-market. Although like you (R1) and Glenn said: too risky. Still could go to $1.50, but then fall like a rock, risky risky.

FNM-About a week ago they hit $1.55, that's where they want to top out. I'm hoping for a good low today so I can flip it. Low maybe $1.47, although the don't want to budge much. What do you think R1?? and anyone else for that matter.

Well gents, the market made a comeback today. Anybody thinking kerplunk tomorrow? Any plays in mind? FAZ? DUG?
I don't have much time to sell AA and buy DUG. AA is basically even from where I bought it. I think it will hit $14.40 today. But not while I'm here. It just hit $14.36 and came down slightly. DUG will drop to $12 or maybe even $11.90. I think its time to buy it. Just can't do it.

In 775 shares of DUG at $12.16. Got out of my EMC. Made a quick little 3.5%. Get back in tomorrow at some point probably, unless the market shows further signs of weakening.
