Nevermind, just found "wider loss than expected".

Sold and took profit, not as much, but profit all the same.

Guess I should of dumped all my stock this morning. SIRI could of sold at $0.55. VG...could of sold at $0.87. Just my luck....

GREED = DECEPTION

Anyways, here is one to catch a ride on.

UAUA....Was just at $5.48....back up slightly....but I think you can catch this ride from $5.25-30 to sell at $6.00-6.20.

Debating on shorting GM for a nickle or so. I think they are hit!! By the way....They offered GM Europe to FIAT for a 30% stake in FIAT. What a joke!!

Ohhh yeah....the only reason besides GREED that I didn't sell was because I was going to sell SIRI/VG and load up on FAZ at $4.67. [BadOne] However, seeing all the financials up 10-20% today I was like FAZ might touch $3 range and bailed.

Anyways, good luck all...off to make lunch and down a beer.

I took the hit and I sold my FAZ. If it crumbles deep into the 4.XX range, I will be a buyer again. If it flies up, I will try not to watch. I am sure it will be the second scenario, so good luck all!

Really sorry to hear that....I think it will keep going up now. Seems like investors are in shock now about how much money the banks need. However the report comes out tonight if I am right....(Been taking care of my son).

I think the market will close -142. Wait....let me double jinx it....market closes up 3,000 points!! [Wink]

I picked up 500 FAZ at 5.67 to hold. That is much less than I was holding before and it is all cash, so no maintenance calls.

Hope it works.

I shorted DRYS yesterday at 10.50, covered at 8.30. Too bad it was just in practice account!

Holding CEMJQ for about a 2 months now. Bought in at .16 like a moron when it was CEM. and then they went into Chapter 11 bankruptcy like 2 days later and I basically lost the pot. I doubled down and held the shares and I am now finally in the green two months later! I am still holding for a little while, seems to be moving up well the last two weeks.

You better sell that and get your money back. Companies that go bankrupt cancel their stock when they come out and the existing stock becomes worthless.

cleared out of half of my SIRI yesterday in the .46 range and another 90% today at .42..I was leveraged to the maximum with 600K shares so I was forced to sell with the big early drop,(and just think I was doing cartwheels up and down my hallways at yesterdays open)BLAH..selling early turns out the right thing to do at the time..all for profit but down huge from yesterdays open (ouch big time)currently only hold 50K shares at today close and will buy back IF it drops to the low 30s (doutful)..SIRI will just go sideways for the next 2.5 months until the next reporting period..which will be tremendous bullish..I hate when i make good money and still are left with a BAD feeling..there goes my Tahoe Condo dream for another few months..My VHC is up great..I only bought 2K shares (this is a true spec penny stock).but hey a winner is a winner..i doubled up (long)on all my inverse 5 minutes before the close today...SKF SRS and FAZ..also shorted LVS (10.52), F (6.25), NM (4.40) and FITB (8.55) 30-60 minutes before the close today..my existing inverse are painful but how many dayS of up are there??? crazy times..crazy MOVES..i must certainly be thinking a black monday open..any thoughts??

The only thought I have is similar to one of the last things you said ... how many days of up are there? This is crazy. I wasn't expecting a downward disaster or anything but a couple day pullback wasn't out of the question I didn't think. Oh well, we will see what happens as always.

I am holding 800 FAZ and other than that, I just have a few positions of profit shares, so nothing exciting.

Yes. I know that CEMJQ will most likely be cancelled when they emerge from the bankruptcy. It looks like that will not happen until the end or the year or later. I'm only holding for a week or 2 longer. I have a good gut feeling about this one over the next few weeks at least.

More on RICK, Seeking Alpha by: Chris Fernandez May 08, 2009

Rick’s Cabaret International (NASDAQ: RICK): Rick’s stock has been on an absolute tear in the last 1-2 months, more than tripling in price from a low of $2.50, to $7.50 before Thursday’s pull back.

I have been watching the trends at Rick’s as well as the chart and volume patterns, and everything looks bullish aside from Thursday’s down move along with the rest of the market.

If you’ve been waiting to buy Rick’s on a pullback, now’s the time to do it.

Look to enter a position right here, and especially on any weakness below $6.00 per share.

Protect yourself on the downside and liquidate if Rick’s falls below $4.50, but I don’t think that will happen.

With improving fundamentals, restructured debt, and the recently announced highest monthly sales in the company’s history with improving trends at the weakest clubs, now’s the time to buy into Rick’s, not later.

Strategy: Buy 1/4 - 1/2 position now, more if stock dips below $6.00. Sell entire position if stock breaks $4.50.

--------------------
Cheers!

Yep....the market is STUPID!!! If we were all cash then it wouldn't matter. This is turning out like Roulette. And the table has landed on RED only.....strange how many times it lands on RED instead of black.

Well, I debated in shorting HAYZ the other day when it hit $0.32 before earnings. I was thinking the earnings would be bad but wow....they released them with a NASTY KICKER!!! Chapter 11. LOL!! That is twice in the past 7 years.

So, anyone short GM yet??? I would of back at $3+ if my money was free then. Would of been sitting pretty.

So, market opens up...then moves down...now looking to closing up 60-90 points. Hmmmm.....

Get this...I heard the dumbest thing possible in CNBC. The old guy who has the lead reporter job made a STUPID COMMENT!!! He said that we are in a BULL MARKET because OIL PIRCES are UP!!! No!!!!!! I think the OIL CASH HUNGRY COWS are playing the travel season to make more money. XOM made BILLIONS last year. I think it was over 40 billion. And they wonder where all the money in the economy went???? HELLO!!!!

Few picks....UAUA, DRYS, LVLT, X

Here is one to ponder. INTEL - INTC paid stores not to stock AMD computers so they could sell more processors. They thinking they will get fined 1.4 billion. So thinking when they get the fine Wednesday that INTC stock drops a buck.

AMD...I think that stock gets a kick because it means the cat is out of the bag and potential increased sales growth.

UPDATE 1-Rick's Cabaret Q2 profit beats Street, shares A5:33 PM ET 5/12/09 | Reuters

* Q2 EPS cont ops $0.16 vs est $0.11

* Q2 sales up 21.6 pct to $18.4 mln

* Shares up 11 pct in after-hours trade

May 12 (Reuters) - Rick's Cabaret International Inc (RICK) posted a quarterly profit that topped analysts' estimates, helped by turnarounds at clubs in Philadelphia, Las Vegas and Dallas.

Shares of the Houston-based adult nightclub operator rose 11 percent in trading after the bell.

For the second quarter ended March 31, the company earned $839,471, or 9 cents a share, compared with $2.6 million, or 32 cents a share, a year ago.

Two analysts on average were expecting the company to earn 11 cents a share, according to Reuters Estimates.

Total revenue rose 21.6 percent to $18.36 million.

Shares of the company rose to $8.20 in after-hours trade. They closed at $7.40 Tuesday on Nasdaq.

RICK turned out to be a very nice move.

I'm going to try and get some SIRI tomorrow as well and I'm watching BARE closely.

Way to early to get back in. I think it will drop down to $0.31 in the next few weeks. I know your only playing with profit but think about it.

A few days back, I sold my profit shares of FAS at 9.90 and planned to get back in on them when the price was down. It went over 13.00 in the meantime and this has been my first chance basically so I will probably be buying back into them today if we stay under 8.50.

Didn't pull the trigger on an FAS buy, even when it was at 8.30 A/H. Will figure it out tomorrow or maybe just sit back and relax for awhile.
