Well, I bought ZIXI on Monday. The MM's brought it down Monday and Tuesday but news came out this morning. Zix Corp. announces $11.8 million private placement. The price has risen 7% so far this morning. If they get on a roll with PR from their upcoming conferences, this thing might really take off. Keep an eye on it.

"We believe this investment, combined with continued growth in our cash-generating email encryption business and anticipated expansion of our base of active e-prescribing users, will provide the company with sufficient operating capital to achieve cash flow breakeven," stated Rick Spurr, chief executive officer for ZixCorp. "As part of the capital raise, our goal was to add strong, respected institutional investors to our shareholder base. We accomplished this objective with a significant percentage of the placement going to H&Q Life Sciences Investors, a recognized leader in healthcare investments, which led the financing round with an approximate $3 million investment, and other respected institutional investors."

I nailed INNO again. Got in the past few weeks with an average of $0.737 and sold today at $0.877....a gain of $1,528.37. Sometimes if you get to understand a charts pattern, you can hit stocks up like this one multiple times. Now, should I of held longer....I think not. Money in the bank is worth more than money on paper.

Now, I dropped the whole $9,500+ in F Ford Motor Company at $7.57. This will be back in the 8's soon so its a good time for everyones entry right now. My exit target is $8.25. That will be a gain of 9% or $862.

GTE is getting my attention again also with the price dipping very low now....keep an eye on that one. If it gets below $2.00, I'm planning on jumping in BIG!!

Here are my picks: Keep in mind these are all about 2-5 days out.

BANY (2-3 days) or .0129 sell at .0179
FLIP (2-3 days)
MDCV (2 days)
PCLI (3 days) or .14 sell at .17
PCHM (3 days) or 1.2 sell at 1.4
TOPLF (2-3 days) or .24 sell at .30
URNZ (5 days) <= 2.00

Keep in mind that is only if they continue their trends. If they breakout sooner forget those dates. Right now I'm in XSNX and I should have sold today at 2.25+ but o well [Frown] I think they are 3-4 days away from a HUGE breakout run!

Cablevision declares special cash dividend of $10/share

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Cablevision Systems Corp. (CVC : Cablevision Systems Corporation
News , chart, profile, more
Last: 27.25+0.25+0.93%

4:01pm 04/07/2006

27.25, +0.25, +0.9%) on Friday evening declared a special cash dividend of $10 a share for its NY Group Class A and NY Group Class B stock. The dividend is payable April 24 to shareholders of record as of April 18. The Bethpage, N.Y.-based media and telecommunications company said the dividend will be paid from the proceeds of a $3 billion distribution from its subsidiary, CSC Holdings Inc.

I have to look into this a little more for the exact details, but this might be the tip of the month.

SMAN........$0.65 low volume but its interesting because of all the insider buying the past 6 months. I wouldn't recommend buying this but it could have potential. Just don't try and dump more than $3,000 in it or you might have a tough time selling (low volume).

SLS........$0.90. Volume looks good, market cap is good, insiders looks good. Might have a winner here. Entry is between $0.85-.88......exit is $1.00-1.05.

IPIX........$1.21....undecided on entry as of yet....but exit is $0.10-0.15 higher than entry. We might see this one drop down to $1.10 range this week.

CURN......not crazy about it for swing trading but for a quick DAY TRADE, its a winner.

FLWS.......$6.99 close....$7.81 AH......will be nuts on monday for this one. Cramer listed this as undervalued, and said its a STEAL right now. I'm not really into buying stocks that are peaking but the company looks great.

CRYP.......$26.16 close.....$27.85 AH. Another of Cramer's picks and looks great. (This isn't a swing stock).

OLAB.........$5.75 close.....$6.13 AH.......this stock is CRAZY. Look at the spike friday......OMG......jumped from $2.00 to $7.00. Hmmmm......the news doesn't seem like it would indicate time to buy??? Not sure why its so high all the sudden.

JCTCF........$18.24 close.....$15.00 AH. This stock will be crazy monday also. Not sure what it will do buy to have profits increase 300%, now that is saying something. (Note: Gold is expensive now....does this have anything to do with this?).

Well, its late and I haven't done a stock screen for a few months, so this was long overdue.

Enjoy!

Its too late to get in now......you have missed the record date. They are paying a CASH DIVIDEND of $10.00 per share. That is about 37% gain. Now when stocks pay divy's like this (NGRU)......the stock usually takes a beating afterwards.....however, this stock may be different, because it really hasn't gained too much per share like NGRU did. It only gained a little. But I would bet that the stock will drop down to $18-20 per share when the divy is paid.

yes but you have a RECORD DATE.....Record date normally takes:

Trade date + 3 days

What this means is, you can't be on record if you didn't buy it 4 days before the record. Lets say the record date was this friday. If we work it backwards...friday = day 3, thursday = day 2, wednesday = day 1, tuesday is the MUST BUY DATE!!

Don't get caught up with your pants down.

Your all set then.......you have met the record date....just don't buy anymore.....also you can consider taking your profits before the ex-divys date and avoid the sudden stock drop...which may or may not happen.
