ok, that's pretty specific...glad we got that straightened out...
T e X.....I see your still having fun.

WTH is up with NWACQ.......its gone from <$1.00 to >$6.50 in just over a month. Are they crazy......after losing just under $18,000 years ago on KM, I'm not touching Chapter 11/7 stocks anymore. I don't understand why people would buy that stock when there is the possibility of exiting bankrupcy with NEW SHARES....cancelling the old shares.

CORT..........undecided. They have $17.5 million in cash to hold the fort down but they can't afford another hit. As for getting delisted.......youhave until May 9th so plenty of time. They should have their phase III results out by spring. I would expect them to release them in Feb. Its a risky play but could be rewarding or a death blow.

Where you been, R1?

I'm going to take a closer look at ONT. Here are some good short-term (2 week)swings - UFI, ARTX, PLPX, IBIS.

That flippin MAMA shot up from around $2.40 to over $4 yesterday. Crazy. I wanna play it but I'm too chicken.

Been busy. laid off now but the wife has me doing everything.....everytime I sneak on the computer, she complains and says take care of Justin (newborn son) so she can have a break. I only get to look on here at night lately and that is only a few minutes....maybe an hour at the most.

Yeah, post-partum blues are for new fathers too. Big change with first baby. Why don't you negotiate? Take the baby for an hour for an hour of computer time with no nagging.

Volume on ONT has almost trippled. Getting lots of attention.

hey amanick, just looking at the APT chart.. nice big volume, and a breakout past a major resistance level. it might be trying to fill that gap from way back in fourth week of march.. if that's so, it'd be good till at least $3

ONT picking up steam... closed at 1.17, up 25% on 6.75 million volume. Now the question is, where does it go from here?

Very nice call on ONT. Did they get news? 25% is a big move in one day w/o news! I'll be watching EMA tomorrow. Looks prime for a good move [Smile]

ONT was a easy pick. Especially when I saw the 3 year chart with the nice 70%+ spikes at the end of the year-beginning of January. My exit point is around $1.30.....could see it hit $1.50 but I'm happy with the 55% I will make on it. Now only if I had bought this at the beginning ($0.64) instead of that damn FUEL stock. Well, congrats to all that bought. It hit $1.18 today.....but the real spike will come 1st 2 weeks of January.

Sold all my ONT * $1.40. Made 56% on one account and 68% on the other account. Pretty good. Make sure you all put this on your radar for December of 2007. 3 years in a row now with BIG spikes the 1st 2 weeks. I will start doing screens again this week.

Hope you all sold with pockets overflowing with profits.

picked up vral .065 this morning then it came out with news

VRAL has identified two key peptides involved in its thymus nuclear protein or "TNP" technology currently under development for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. The active components of VGV-1, Viral Genetics' lead drug candidate based on TNP, were discovered by independent research laboratories and additional studies to confirm these findings are currently underway.
The compounds identified include two classes of peptides (small protein fragments) that occur naturally in a variety of mammals, including humans. While both have been studied and reported in the scientific literature predominantly as markers, their therapeutic uses have not been actively pursued to date.
In published studies, one of the peptides has been characterized as an immune modulator, possibly possessing natural antiviral and anti-infective properties. Researchers have also identified an association between levels of this peptide and certain viral infections and cancers.
"From a scientific perspective, this may be a very important discovery for Viral Genetics and, if confirmed, could shed insight into our understanding of TNP and VGV-1. By having the active components isolated, we should be able to identify the mechanism of action and determine optimal dose. These are critical requirements in the process of improving the antiviral effects of the product and moving towards US clinical trials," said Dr. Eric Rosenberg, Chairman of the Company's scientific advisory board and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
"While these results are preliminary and we are working rapidly to confirm them, this is a significant milestone for Viral Genetics and could greatly accelerate our development efforts in the United States and worldwide. Our hope is that the broad body of existing knowledge on the active compounds in the literature may also enhance our drug development pipeline," said Haig Keledjian, president and CEO of Viral Genetics, Inc.
In recent studies, a reduction of HIV viral load was observed in a subset of patients after treatment with VGV-1 versus patients receiving placebo. As reported in the Company's poster presentation at the 2006 XVI International AIDS Conference, VGV-1 treated subjects also demonstrated apparent beneficial immunological changes when compared with placebo.
The World Health Organization estimates approximately 40 million people are now living with HIV. Even with the available treatments for AIDS, there are large numbers of people that need alternative therapies and hope remains that progress will be made in discovering new therapies that bolster patients' immune systems.
About VGV-1
VGV-1 is a therapy based on thymus nuclear protein which is extracted from bovine thymus tissue. As a type of immune-based therapy, it focuses on boosting the immune system to allow the body to fight HIV more efficiently. Thymus nuclear protein technology has been studied in five human clinical trials for the treatment of HIV infection and AIDS.
About Viral Genetics
Viral Genetics, Inc. is a biotechnology company that discovers and develops immune-based therapies for HIV and AIDS using its thymus nuclear protein compound. This compound may have other potential applications for other infectious, autoimmune, and immunological deficiency diseases that the company intends to study in the future. Viral Genetics believes that VGV-1 represents a significant and unique approach to treating HIV due to the apparently novel mechanism, low toxicity profile, simple dosing regimen, and short-course of treatment. This news release contains forward-looking statements that involve risks and uncertainties associated with clinical development, regulatory approvals, and other risks described by Viral Genetics, Inc. from time to time in its periodic reports filed with the SEC. VGV-1 is not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration or by any comparable regulatory agencies elsewhere in the world. While Viral Genetics believes that the forward-looking statements and underlying assumptions contained therein are reasonable, any of the assumptions could be inaccurate, including, but not limited to, the ability of Viral Genetics to establish the efficacy of VGV-1 in the treatment of any disease or health condition and the development of studies and strategies leading to commercialization of VGV-1 in the United States. Might want to check out CERS it looks like it could make a good run to $6.50 or so here soon. Its as support right now in the $5.30's I think I will be buying it tomorrow as long as it stays in the $5.30's and doesn't go into the $5.20s.

Just wanted to point something out here......if you look at the chart from 2005 to current.....you will notice a spike taking place mid January-February. Might have something here. Good find.

VRAL.....I think you might get $0.07 but any higher.....you will likely sit a while on it. I would drop this one.

CERS......I agree with your prediction.

Was $0.50 then......now its $1.00. Don't touch now!!

NXXI....$1.73.....worth a look.....maybe it will keep moving up into the $1.95-2.10 range......MAYBE.

TKO.......put it on your list to watch.....but not saying buy/sell it. Look at the roller coaster swings over the past few years. Will have to keep on eye on it for the next ride.

WYY........just like TKO.....roller coaster stock.

XJT......$8.98.....check it out....could see $10.50.

MII......$0.70.....Could rocket up in the next few months. Look at the chart for the past 5 years......I shot up every year around February.....but 2003. A small risk...maybe $1,000-2,000. Not sure if I would risk anymore then that.

Back to taking care of my son.......good luck all.

Damn.......$1.10.......another 10% gain. The reasons are: They got a extension for compliance from the NASDAQ and they had a Xchange conference on Thursday.

I guess I feel that this could be a good day trader at the momment....the days range was $1.04-1.22. But for a swing.......uncertain!!

Will be dropping a few bucks in each. Looking for the bottom on MII. Any imput would be nice. But XJT.......yeah......I'm sure we will see $10.50 for a 17% gain.

QTWW......$1.66 Take a look at the chart......even though they have been going downhill, they still have a pattern. Look at the SPIKES at the 1st quarter of the past 3 years. If you would print the chart off and cut it in years and lay it ontop of the year before, you will be suprised as to how close they look. Not saying buy or anything, but definately worth a look.
