Like CMOS better. It has better earnings estimates and a better institutional buy to sell ratio, with less shorting.

Yes - could happen. I would tend to buy, rather than short. Strong short interest but earnings estimates are for less losses over the next 3 quarters (but still very unprofitable, which may explain the shorting), and insider and institutional buying are slightly more than selling.
