Just wanted to start of by saying everyones input on this board is great. I have been reading for 3 to 4 months.

My Stupid Question is:

I opened my Scottrade account and ready to go. I pick my stock and buy at 5.93 on Wednesday and Friday morning is was up to 7.05. I was trying to set up the account that if the price dropped to 6.93 it would sell. I was pressed for time and didn't do it correctly and went to my meeting. When I came back the price was down to 6.40. Had a nice gain going.

On the Order type what should I pick?

Stop loss sell is what you need. Don't know if your broker allows this.
