looks like my 10,7 won't be challenged after all. Bummer.
It'll happen...... sooner or later!

remember I mentioned to watch the $VIX? We know how fast volatility can pick up, looks like its ready to bounce. Wouldn't hurt to see a few wide swing days to see if it can break us through some resistance, or at least test the 200dma on the SPY and the $INDU.

If we close below 1131, 1110 is the next resistance. If below that, 1080. I see us bouncing off one of the two then on to my 1200. The market was up 8% this month alone. It needed a small breather.

I took a lot off lol only left 20% in just incase. Wanted to see things drop at least till next week - whatz the dagone rush? back to the crazy days for a bit, kick my chart calibration tool too don't mind missing a little green. I've been out all morning so still trying to catch up on everything.

see if this chart comes through... looks like I missed a couple resistance lines but I wouldn't rule out a double top at the 11,200 mark. And as hard as it is for me to do, raising my bottom support closer to 10,200/10,400 (from 9,700). Looks like we just might see the golden cross (50dma crossing back over the 200dma). Then, we crash again . Just a wild guess. http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/6448/dowsep10.png

the bank wants him to move back in and start making pmnts with no penalty... he won't
lot of strangeness going on, and i beleive the market only needs an excuse to crash and burn again...
Housing is only 5% of the overall economy. It used to be 20%. I don't see that being a major factor. I also think that productivity is the culprit for the lack of jobs, thus the weakness in specific areas in housing. This market is on fire, and for those that watch mainstream media have been loosing. China, India, better productivity and housing only being 5% of the overall economy has made corporations put there money out there with M&A. QE2 coming as well. Baring anything crazy in the Nov. elections, we should be right on target for my S&P 1300, give or take a few points.

i'm not suggesting we can't do the 1300, what i'm suggesting is that main st is not in the the market and the peopl that have it high are the "pro's"...
once they have "customers" (mainstreet comes back)? the excuse willbe there to pull the plug...
just be prepared to bail...

S&P maintained above 1150 which imo is a decent accomplishment. If the market maintains this momentum we could see a whole new rally right on top of the one we just finished. Pretty crazy but that 1200 is getting closer. Setting my stop loss (mentally) at 1150 for now though. Still looking for the reset that September didn't give me. Think I'll name this the "dumb money" rally. Or something like the "voters delux" rally. Oh yeah, need to mention that I am no economist or certified in any way to qualify my theories.

If we have a positive print on the jobs tomorrow, we could be up 20+ on futures S&P.

Slight change in divergence but I could still be left in the dust for a bit. With the trashing of the $ (which is catching support around .76 imo) helping to push us up we just might start seeing a turn when support catches it but we'll see.

No dip Boo, No dip for you. LoL We might see some resistance around 1181 S&P, small pullback, then blow through my 1200, on to 1300. Watch that 1181

It's hovering. I think we may see some profit taking here. Then move higher. We shall see.

There goes 1181 again. The move is higher. I really thought we would see a breather. Seems complacent. I almost took some profit.

I'm not looking for much invester. I am glad I stuck with my gut so far and didn't fall for the media bs. need to look at a few of the indices and pick some support levels. 1150 is still a fair support level imo so we'll see just how much support that gives us. Futures green for now.

Let's just say that our $ loses another 20%-30% in the next year, and the next...
What happens to the price of just about everything? Does it go up or down?
Do folks buy more products that businesses sell when product prices go up or down?
Do stock prices go up or down when businesses sell less product and raise prices at a missed attempt to show growth?
What happens to stock prices when people can not afford to purchase goods and services from businesses due to increased pricing, and less cash on hand to spend?
...too many questions?
Am I wrong?
What is the deal with gas prices?
What is the deal with grocery prices?
The sad thing. These prices have just barely begun to go up.
Look for $4+ nationwide at the pumps next summer.
Anyone know what european countries are paying for gas these days? I wonder why that is? Are we following suit?
I wonder if minimum wage will raise with inflation, or will We The People fall into a proven to fail communist system.
