Did you read my first post in this thread?

Or did you miss the part that mentioned not going long until next summer?

I actually was thinkin' that you weren't naive for a minute there; fortunately, you have proven me to be correct on my first inference.

Oh, that's right, someone else picked it. And yes, I believe it will eventually file for protection.

Again caught stealing...

Look, I don't mean to me mean, but you say you've been right 100% of the time. Your Kool-Aid man is so ridiculous. I'll ask you, please back that up on this thread. I, as well as others have read your inaccurate rants. I'm not attacking you but real people read these threads, invest money, and you obviously have no comprehension on a good recommendation let alone a good "long term investment". Guy, you once asked me "how old are you". I'll answer you, I'm old enough to have been a stock broker out of College, then an Investment Banker. I now trade Energy and Stock, along with options on stock for a living and make more in a day than you will EVER make in a year. I guarantee that I am the most educated and experienced trader on this site, let alone the whole industry. I also see you work at ASANA, So sad.

Long term hold????? Long term? Wow. I can’t hold my tongue any more. With our entire market being down, and some of the greatest companies out there trading at a P/E of 4 or lower, you choose SVNT. I suppose that's why I have been right 100% of every call I have made and you have been wrong 100% of the time. Literally, 100% of the time guy. You have an obligation when posting, to at the bear minimum know what you’re doing. I'm not attacking you but you’re awful. I have the posts to back up my record. Under ALLSTOCKS .Hot stocks forum "buyout candidates”. You even bashed CC when I was making my call. "Who wants them you say, what about K-Mart” If you know how to read a balance sheet they have well over 1 billion in real estate. Stock trades at $30 million. I'm now up well over 100% as your still waiting for your call of DOW 5000. LoL. Get educated before you influence others to spend there hard earned money on your ridiculous calls.

I think I found another contender for a long-term hold: ORA (Ormat Technologies)

They're in the Electric Utilities industry; their business is geothermal power.

Word is Buffet and Google have invested heavily.

CC, ouch... Guess that my daytrade only advice wasn't too shabby for ya. Sorry to hear that you lost your butt on "investing" in CC due to your belief that their "land assets" could trump the bankruptcy that was comin'.

I'm not going to go into huge detail.

Plus WEL oil/gas prices don't matter much. You obviously have no clue what they do. They aren't an oil/gas company, they have a certain niche in the oil and gas industry. Read about it.

ETFC- right now the market is so volatile Etrade is making tons of money as people are trading more than usual. Remember, people who are long term traders who lost their 401k's weren't trading anyways. Etrade is priced near bankruptcy due to a brutal HELOC portfolio. Historically, Etrade makes over a buck a share. Let's say traders dont trade that much..okay $.60 per share eventually= $6.00-$7.50

NRF: This is an cmREIT...best of the breed. May fall more, but right now NO Non performing assets. Unbelievable.

Sometime within the next 5 years, I would expect to see a DOUBLE in all of these.

Good luck my man, I'll be back sometime within the next 5 years to confirm my thoughts here.

Next time please do not just look at yahoo profile page of each company to get "what they do" and then tag general rebuttals to them. Do your DD

WEL chart: http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=wel

ETFC chart: http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=etfc&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=0

NRF chart: http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui

I'd hate to wait 5 years for a mere double in pps.

Yeah, I completely agree with you. I personally just don't see the point to get into GE just yet, still feel it maybe a bit early. I mean its probably a decent entry point, but I feel you can probably get it a little bit lower. That yield does look yummy tho

I'm just waiting to see if there is another bailout for $1 trillion by late Spring, as many knew that the $700B was just the beginning.

Will Obama continue to give out more cash, and how much more is it going to take to fix the financial sector?

Buying BAC or any bank stock is not too bright IMO...not to be a dick or anything

It's just that when the financial sector is ready to head up..it makes more sense to play the 3x financial ETF's....FAS long, and FAZ short!

They make big moves and you don't have to guess which fiancial stock will give you the biggest return!
