I have a buy in for some GM to go long on but might not get filled ($4.00) but if it takes a dip back to LOD I will take it .. Bob whats your opinion with GM how lond do you think they can keep it down this low?And do you think this is the bottom?

Also I heard talk on Finncial News Network that GM and Ford might merge,, both companies down now and need sales and hold a lot of bad loans GM and also talks about GM and Chrysler merge as well.....Here is the news on both ::::

As of 4:02 PM ET 10/10/08 General Motors Corp approached Ford Motor Co about a possible merger of the two biggest U.S. car companies before more recent talks with Chrysler, the New York Times reported on Saturday.
Ford was approached by GM in July, but rejected the idea and the discussions ended in September, the newspaper said in a report that cited two people with knowledge of the talks.
A Ford representative could not be reached for comment on the report.
A source briefed on the matter has said GM and Chrysler, which is about 80 percent owned by Cerberus Capital Management [CBS.UL], have had talks about combining the automakers at a time when both are struggling to cut costs and shore up cash.

$6.06 low today and a down after hours trading.But with the Dow down as far as it was today I am glad it didnt go lower.. If it gets back in the $5s I am going to add some..This market just makes every stock look like a good buy and then drops again , I didnt thing we would drop 700 today either.
