As of 3:59 PM ET 5/15/08 Green Earth Technologies (Pink Sheets: GETG) has today announced that its bio-based, "ultimate biodegradable," automotive performance and appearance products are now available on Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN). The full line includes G-OIL(TM) API TC Rated 2-Cycle Engine Oil (2.6 oz, 8 oz.,16 oz.); G-WASH(TM) Car Wash; G-GLASS(TM) Organic Glass Cleaner, Anti-Fog, and Hydrophobic Rain Repellent; G-WHEEL(TM) Wheel Cleaner, and Brake Dust Shield; G-TIRE(TM) Ultimate Tire Shine; and G-SCENT(TM) Odor Eliminator.

In March, Green Earth Technologies offered a free sample size of its API TC compliant 2-cycle G-OIL for consumers who visited its homepage online at www.getg.com.
"The response was tremendous," Marshall adds. "We received more than 200,000 Web site hits and requests for the free G-OIL sample within days and quickly realized that we were not equipped to satisfy these requests online. Amazon.com, however, does this on a daily basis, if not hourly or by the minute. As a Green Earth distributor they will be able to keep our online consumers completely satisfied."
All Green Earth Technologies' products are classified as "ultimate biodegradable," perform above and beyond competitors as proven by engine tests and user testimony, are priced on par with similar products, and reduce dependence on foreign oil. GET uses a proprietary process to transform American-grown beef tallow into a biodegradable material that is the base of all of its products. As of 3:59 PM ET 5/15/08 Green Earth Technologies' (Pink Sheets: GETG) biodegradable motor oil was the key that unlocked the Cabbie Killer mystery in the latest episode of the CBS crime drama, CSI New York. This bio-based motor oil, called G-OIL(TM), took on a few fictional properties invented by the show's writers to drive the plot of the show. CSI's version of G-OIL(TM) attracts ants, which leads detectives to analyze a sample of the oil, trace it to a taxi garage, and identify the Cabbie Killer -green technology comes to the rescue again.
"It was a lot of fun to be a part of the show," says Jeff Marshall, CEO and president of Green Earth Technologies. "We think our product is very unique, and it's exciting to have a whole team of writers at a show as innovative as CSI thinking the same thing. We do want to reiterate that G-OIL(TM) doesn't attract ants or any other wildlife, but it was certainly a creative twist for the episode."
