I saw NCC at 6.60 and sold out of anotehr position to buy in. By the time I sold the one and set up my order to buy, it was back over $7.00. Got in at $6.96 though.

Wow, just did my first ever pre-market trade. Put in an order to sell at $8.50 and it just went through. Now I'm not sure if I shouldn't have just waited until normal hours
Won't complain about a 13% gain overnight though!

Apparently had to cut their dividend from .21 to .01 (really, why bother having one, given teh cost associated with paying one), plus, had to sell like $8billion in shares for $5/share to get some cash. At least that's my take after a quick read. Could be more downside, so I'm sitting this one out.

Bought 6.91 and 6.30 out at 6.45. lol with green. what a trip. It says my 6.45 executed at 12:39 but I don't see it on the chart. it's my demo account. Freekin delays really screw me up!.

I'm totally confused now.
But you are correct, it was a stop limit.
I'm confused here though because if orders fill on the bid, then what's to stop someone from coming down and grabbing any stop even if it is way below the current price.
And why does it not even show the LOD as being $5.89 when that had to be it, since SOMEONE bought my shares.

same with my spike back up in the afternoon Jo, my trades were supposed to mark real time even though i'm under a delay on my demo... said 2k sold at 12:39 at 6.45. If you have a stop limit set at a specific price and it is at or below the current price then I could see it get filled if someone even smaked the ask - the mm will take the spread in a heart beat. But if you had a stop loss set for a certain percent or price range amount and it didn't trigger the order because that criteria had not yet been met then the order wouldn't even be listed yet for the MM to see. If I make any sense at all.

I dunno, I guess I sorta understand. But now I'm just perturbed, since this is now up over .30 since my buy. So I took a loss of $56.00 bucks instead of a gain of 300.00 (but what else is new)

I had an issue with VM. My stop loss failed to execute, trying to resolve that issue. Could turn out to be a good thing. If it dips even more I might just add more. in at 2.14.

had anotehr nice trade on this one today. Bought at 3.03 and sold WAYYYYYYYYYYY too early at 3.27, but can't complain about a profit.
Bought 3,000 shares of WM at 3.19 just before the close (currently 3.49 x 3.50 after hours). I love the volatility in these financial stocks. If I would have hit that FRE trade (Scottrade wouldn't let me do an online trade for 4,000 shares Friday when it was under $5), I would be on a huge roll.

I was watching NCC alllllll day long. What made you get in at 3.03 ? Good call. Even when I saw it briefly hit 2.99, I figured it was going to drop more.
How about that 16+ minute slot where it was halted ? lol- good fun.

I bought a few minutes after the halt. Honestly, bought because a guy on IHub (very good trader, I think) bought at 3.15, so when it dipped below $3 I bought. Only got a partial fill, unfortunately...
WaMu had a nice drop into the close, which often happens before a big gap up the next day. I kinda think this will be like what happened in march when the BSC thing happened and all the financials got killed. IndyMac's failure caused the big drop, so I think logic takes over tomorrow and this gets back to a more reasonable level.

It looks like I could get into Citigroup around 15.15 after hours and WaMu around 3.46 after hours. I am itching to pick something up. I played Citigroup last week and did well with it, but while the volatility in these banks is fun to watch, it scares me as well.

Going to be a rought start today it looks like. WM is trading in the 3.30s, I am going to pick up a few pre-market and see what happens.

Oh man, you gto in at 3.50? Figured after you posted you'd have gotten in on that huge drop to under 3.20. Oh well, at least you banked some. I'm holding still. Looking for a break of $4, and given the ridiculous volatility the last few days, I think it could happen.

Nice. The S&P is down 2% right now. I just think something will happen during the day taht we have at least one point in the day when we approach green in the market overall, and these beaten down stocks will have a nice recovery, even if just temporarily.
