ah, lemme 'splain how these thing work...
i ran a portfolio on CC LLC for '04 '05 and part of '06
i couldn't figger out how they made money, cuz the portfolio tanked...
so i did some deeper research..
what i found is kinda instersting..
in the past certain limited liability corps have "taken liberties" with certain "instruments" (stock purchase contracts) in their possession...
they appear to deposit these "instruments" in their accounts and use them as collateral to develop larger margin capability..
they then use this margin to sell the very same stock short, which in fact gives them CASH in their account to re-invest (long) in other stock which gives them EVEN MORE margin capability.. sweet huh?
unbelieveably? they manage to sell shares they don't actually own (yet).... it's an amazing process.. and they've been allowed to sell these shares until the company is placed on the threshold failure to deliver list. but they haven't had to replace the short sales until they feel like it.... being placed on that list only means they have to stop short selling shares they haven't EVER legally BORROWED. of course? they have a contract to purchase the shares at a fixed price in the future, so they have no worries, because they can either buy the shares dirt cheap on the open market because the price has been artificially forced down due to what appears to be unlimited availability, or (at worst) buy the shares thru their fixed price contract (convertible debenture)...
good luck... i won't be bashing this or any other stock.. they could be a great company but getting financed at certain places puts a smell on them that just can't be washed off...

Nice explanation Glass. I have just recently started to learn these angles over the past few months. By the time the company realizes what's going on it may be too late, and I would imagine even harder to prove.

So Glassman are actually admitting right here on this BB that you engaged in illegal naked short selling activity? WOW, I might only be 17 years old but I'm not that stupid to actually admit to the public that I broke the law while working for a company. FYI, there is a way to combat naked short selling, I'd love to divulge this information to you but what the hell do I know I'm still only in High School. LOL

Mike? Where the heck did you get what you just posted about glass? IT IS NOT WHAT HE WROTE! Perhaps you should lay off the stock boards and stay in school...because your reading comprehension bites...
The people on here are trying to help you...stop being a twit and say thanks and play the stock however you want...But if Cornell is involved? I would ride the wave and get the hell out...but hey..you're 17 and have all the answers...good luck...and remember...always protect your capital!!
OOPS..Hi vg...where ya been?

refers to a simple quicken portfolio MODEL... it's a good way to "paper trade" or test how good a stockpicker is..
you start a portfolio with their picks in it and monitor it's performance...
i have done this with quite few analysts picks as well...
as for combating NS'ing? you are addressing someone who has sent countless letters directly to lawmakers pointing out exactly what's been goin' on, and progress is being made as we speak.. but i'm sure that you know all about it (and everything else there is to know), since you are 17 i know i did when i was your age....
i was also bulletproof... that lasted into my 30's... alas, i am no longer ... why is it that youth is wasted on the young anyway?

picking microcaps is like jumping on turds in a toilet, hoping one floats long enough for you to make a quick buck before getting flushed into non existence. In my experience...

Hey does anyone know the Market Cap on Telemedicus - TMDI.PK is or how about the float? Anyone? OK, maybe some current financial numbers for the company?
I didn't think so! It currently trades for .45 with a high of .95 and is being touted here on allstocks as a Hot Stock Alert! This company alone makes NNTN.OB at .02 a share and a 300K market cap look pretty good!

Hey Tex.. check this out.. so here's a low-quality content contributor like mikeaddison.. basically creating noise on the message board, making it harder for others to get to useful information.. a few people have already given him the lowest possible rating, but it doesn't change a thing.. this thread is still top of the stack.
It would be swell if there was a way to get the most profitable threads to the top.. you know, the picks that are actually having a good run, people making money off of them. Is there any way for a moderator to do that? Other than making them sticky, that is?
Or, alternatively, to make loser threads like this one sink to the bottom?

Prolly need a whole new forum topic link for that.
Or this could just be moved to the micro section with the rest of the bs stocks.

Have been pondering an appropriate "time out."
Perhaps a 24-hour lock-down will get young master's attention...
