IDGJ TOday's news IDGLOBAL Provides Solutions for Counterfeit Wines Plaguing the High End Wine Industry Thursday October 25, 11:30 am ET
KELOWNA, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IDGLOBAL (Pink Sheets:IDGJ) Collector and Vintage wines have been the target of counterfeiters as the global wealth boom dramatically increases the size and scale of the high end wine industry. IDGLOBAL has developed its Nano-Molecular Markers™ to be easily and seamlessly applied to the wine bottle or label for the purpose of tracking, protecting and controlling counterfeiting infections that are plaguing the collector and vintage wine industry worldwide at an alarming rate. IDGLOBAL’s Nano-Molecular Markers™ are applied to pre-selected areas on the bottle or label using a proprietary tagging method that in no way affects the wine inside nor can it been seen, removed or duplicated because IDGLOBAL Nano-Molecular Markers apply a molecular signature that cannot be replicated or counterfeited allowing for the wine bottle that is marked to be verified as 100% authentic. IDGLOBAL’s Nano-Molecular Markers are applied at the molecular level and cannot be detected, removed or altered by the criminal counterfeiters allowing for 100% authentication of the component in real time, in a matter of seconds using proprietary handheld scanning technologies.
A recent report on the Slate.com by By Mike Steinberger, describes how prolific this problem is becoming and recites examples of how the high end wine industry is being compromised. The entire article can be viewed at http://www.slate.com/id/2173361Posts: 4071 | Registered: Dec 2005
