Fortress Investment Group Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering - PR Newswire
NEW YORK, Feb 08, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Fortress Investment Group LLC today announced its initial public offering of 34,286,000 Class A shares priced at $18.50 per share. Fortress Investment Group LLC also granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 5,142,900 Class A shares.
The shares will begin trading on February 9, 2007, on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "FIG". The offering is expected to close on February 13, 2007.

Fortress Investment raises $634 mln Friday February 9, 8:04 am ET
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Fortress Investment Group LLC on Thursday raised $634 million with an initial public offering, the first such move by a diversified U.S. private equity and hedge fund. The 34.3 million class A share offering sold for $18.50 per share compared with a $16.50 to $18.50 forecast, according to an underwriter.
Led by Goldman Sachs, Banc of America Securities LLC, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank Securities and Lehman Brothers, underwriters have the option to buy an additional 5.1 million Class A shares to cover overallotments.
The firm will list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "FIG" (NYSE:FIG - News).
