I need help??? I am new to stock trading, just trying to make a few bucks for my three kids, and I have purchased shares in ILGY. I would like some advise from some of you guys who have experience. How high do you expect this to go and at what point do you plan on selling? I don't want to sell too soon, but I want to make as much as I can (who doesn't?). Any advise? Thanks in advance.

International Energy, Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: ILGY) (FRANKFURT: I9E) is proud to announce that the Company has been asked to become a joint venture partner by one of the largest private oil and gas companies in Central Asia.
The Company can confirm that preliminary discussions have commenced with the prospective joint venture partner who has acquired the rights to develop and operate an oil and gas reservoir with the stock evaluated at 5.5 million tons. CEO David Watson stated: "This project in Central Asia is a first for us in that it involves a large private company. However, the strength of this company along with the attributes of the oil and gas reservoir leads us to conclude that this project can provide enormous earnings potential for our Company and greater share value for our shareholders."

I just started trading about 3 weeks ago. I only do this on the side, and on days that I have off from work. I do not have too much money to start with. The advice that I was given was that you should only use money that you can afford to lose. I am hoping by reading this thread and listening to you guys out here that I will be able to learn more about it. i am the type of person that learns by hands on. And I didn't want to make unafordable mistakes. When I feel that I know a little more about what I am doing I will take bigger $$$ money chances. Thanks for all the info on all the stocks everyone. You all make it a little easier to make choices. But as a newbie I have a couple of dumb questions, 1. Wht the hell does DD mean.... I know it means research but what do the letters stand for? 2. The other is IMO. Must be stupid. I can't figure it out. Thanks again everyone. And I am glad that I can humor you all with my small purchases.

Well, I wasn't trying to be a smartass, I figured you had missed a 0. Honestly, even if you use Choisetrade, you're paying $10 for your round trip, so you have to make 15% just to pay for your commission costs.
You're already starting out at a huge disadvantage. if you want to learn by doing, try paper trading. It won't cost you any real money, and it seems like your goal at this point should be learning while not losing money. Almost everyone loses money when they start out, so I'm not trying to pick on you. I can virtually guarantee that if you just try to learn from these boards trading with that kind of money, you will lose all of it very quickly.
Good luck to you though.

We need something beyond speculative PR. Some hard facts As far as company info or some definitive contractual agreements will go a lot farther than good intentions.

P Cola. Thanks for the tips. I am trying to save some extra money that I plan to use in the future. I realize that the round trip is a huge amount to overcome, when playing witht the amount that I am playing with. I made a big mistake in the beginnig and bought JMCP....4 million to be exact. And now I am stuck with shares that I can't sell. But I only had a small amount left to play with and I heard alot of good about ILGY. So I just dumped the rest of the cash that I had in my Scottrade account in there. I figured that if it went up like everyone was hoping for it would make me a little. If we do not go down to the yesterdays low and stays where it is now then I did ok. Thanks again. And I can take a little sarcasm. I have thick skin. No hard feelings were taken.
