CONFIRMED THAT AMERITRADE IS HEAVILY SHORT.....
My next mail to them. -----------------------------------------------
Hi izone,
I do not like the vague reply that I just got from you all about Ameritrade not ALLOWING BUYS, but happily accepting SELLS on HVLN security.
I appreciate the concern about trying to protect me all of a sudden for HVLN. I am educated enough and would not like "protection".
It is not as if you had protected me from losing money before. Trading involves risk an I know that. I would not be trading if I did not realize that. I would have gone for fixed deposit.
You have no legitimite right or reason to keep me from buying.
It's not like if I lose money on a stock, I can say the broker shouldn't have let me buy.
Please respond with a clearer answer that does not involve protection of poor me !!!.
Otherwise, I will be forced to move to some other brokerage who has a more transparent policy, not selective ones....
Simply put, TD Ameritrade has made a business decision to restrict HVLN to closing transactions only. If you own the stock, we will allow you to sell, however no purchases are being accepted. Our competitors have brought to our attention that this stock has been traded manipulatively in the recent past. This is for an indefinite amount of time, meaning it could be restricted for two weeks or it could be two months. This is to protect our interests as well as your's. The brokerage industry has lost a considerable amount of money this year to fraud issues, therefore we are taking every possible precaution to combat this. I understand and apologize for your frustration, however at this point, there is nothing else we can do.
Sincerely,
Justin W. Trade Resolution, Ameritrade Izone Division of TD AMERITRADE, Inc.

Every pink sheet stock is a scam. We all know that. It is just fun to identify potential short squeeze plays and make 1000% gains !!! Like PAVC/PAIV, AWYB/HVLN, PLTT, LFZA/USSE. List is endless....

On behalf of the Harvard Learning Centers, Inc. (the “Company”), we would like to thank everyone for all the get well cards, notes and gift baskets you have sent Mr. Platten following his emergency heart surgery last week. For those of you who did not know, Mr. Platten had a triple heart bypass operation last Monday. He went in to the doctor’s office on Monday last week for a routine cardiac exam and ended up having a triple bypass operation that very day. Mr. Platten is currently recuperating and is under restrictions for the next six weeks.
Not withstanding the foregoing, Mr. Platten is actively monitoring developments regarding the Company. He specifically wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, thank you for your well wishes and give the loyal shareholders an update of new developments as follows:
For the loyalty that you have shown, we have decided to give our loyal shareholders a dividend for the holidays. Specifically, each shareholder of the Company of record as of December 31, 2006 will receive a dividend of one share for each share then owned by such shareholder. The mechanics of the dividend distribution are currently being discussed with the company’s transfer agent.
With the merger and reorganization out of the way, Mr. Platten and the Company’s management team are now focusing on developing the Harvard Learning Centers’ Inc.’s business. As a first step, the Company has hired a new marketing director to build a strong sales force to promote the Company’s services. With this aggressive marketing effort, we are hopeful that the Harvard Learning Centers Inc. will be able to significantly expand its client base.
We anticipate that these developments will have a meaningful impact on the Company’s bottom line thereby increasing shareholder value. At the same time, we all have to be mindful of the efforts that we have taken thus far to aggressively deal with those who have chosen to short the company’s stock. We believe we will be able to unlock the Company’s potential once we have forced the shorts to cover their position. However, if some shareholders sell the Company’s stock below the closing price before the mandatory certs exchange, the shorts will have won once again.
Again, thank you for your patience and loyalty thus far and we are hopeful that the shorts will not be able to delay the day of reckoning forever.
Angel Love
Director of Shareholder Relations
