Recent increase in temperatures have been putting severe pressure on energy companies, and I think summer will do well for Energy stocks. I shall share some energy stocks with very good momentum and people can add. I think these stocks should conservatively increase by anywhere between 30-50% by end of next quarter.
Here are my picks. meanwhile, I shall only post stocks whose charts I think have room to grow, and shall track the stock portfolio on daily basis. Also, since earnings have major impact on market (this is generally true for bear markets).. I shall stop coverage of stocks if earning reports are not good.
people are welcome to add in more into this thread and make calls on their picks. Also, it would be good idea to limit the stock to stocks with good fundamentals, and nice uptrend in charts.
AVA * 23.64. stock looks solid. chart is extremely bullish.
PCG * 40.52. look for it to close above 52 week high. after that, it shall rally.
PSD * 22.10.
CNL * 23.58
XEL * 19.33
WR * 22.38
two other stock which readers may want to keep in radar are MDU and FPL. both are on selloff spree after some recent acquisitions each has made. look for rebound on these stocks and then these should rally hard too! feedback welcome!

Mid day.. all the stocks in energy portfolio are green. that might be probably because market is doing extremely good. I shall post tally at EOD!

Repo. this was meant safe plays. I've been in WWEN atleast 4-5 tiems, ever isnce 0.08, and sold out at 0.135.. and again in and out between 0.008 and 0.11. wwen unfortunately is a high speculation and extremely risky stock, which lost 50% in less than a weeks time. it is a stock, with no revenues, all it has is technology, and letter of intent of 1B. good speculation play if you know how to handle it, but too many group plays on it offlate. every now and then pennybuster is on it, shakerz is on it, so on and so forth. the stocks I have listed are big board stocks which are safe plays with good momentum!

some of the stocks mentioned are approaching overbought scenario. people can actually take profits at these scenarios and wait for rsi to come back to mid 60's for reentries.

Mid 2002, IMO was the market slump time. I started trading only mid 2003. probably it was bad market that killed this sector. this sector is extremely good right now, precisely for the increased pressure on gas and electricity bills for households. undoubtedly, each of these companies will show record revenues in the next quarter.

Great call on GXP fourseven.. amazing chart and nice fundamentals.. didnt see your post till EOD today else would have put a leftover 2K into this pick. MDU and FPL again back on track with the rest. WR had slightly bad day today!

ok ive got one. grey wolf (gw) buy now at 6.60 and sell at 7.49. check the chart its time. its my bread and butter pick. may take 3-4 weeks but always comes thru. do you DD and check it out.

natural gas/petro stocks getting hammered.. and i am not able t predict where gw will stop.. neither will cpx, or pdc or peix.. surprises me all the time.. the thread was for energy as in electric energy producers/subordinates which benefits from extreme temperatures and climate changes, because these sectors shall soar.

Surfer, GW still might go to touch 7.6 or $8, but i dont see it any farther than that for this run. IMO, it will cover the gap left today sometime soon, and then move back up before release of financials on July 1st. if you can manage an entry of $7, then this is an excellent play for quick 10% IMO.

all the picks sucked. PLUG was a disaster. its financials sucked. people dumped it without mercy. i wasnt familiar with the fact that they were releasing the financials today, else i would have removed the pick from the list. buying stocks around time of their financials is always risky business!
all other picks had minor losses today!
