Mad Catz Interactive Inc.
MCZ (AMEX)/MCZ (TSX)
Industry: Toys & Games
Price as of June 15 - $0.38
Long-term Target - $1.12

Thanks to MCZ, your 6-year old can learn how to drive a Formula One car...probably better than you can.

MCZ puts hard-core gamers in the virtual driver's seat with its auto racing simulation controllers and other video game accessories, including the industry leading GameShark brand of video game enhancements.

Most of its products are designed to be used with the Nintendo Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation and PlayStation 2, Sega Dreamcast, and the Xbox systems. The company markets its products through 12,000 retailers globally.

On February 9, MCZ announced its financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005. The company reported third quarter revenues of $45 million a 14.9% decrease over the $25.8 million recorded in the same prior-year period.

Net income for the quarter was break-even, compared to net income of $3.9 million or $0.07 per share in the third quarter of fiscal 2005.

Commenting on the results, Darren Richardson, President and CEO stated, “The fiscal 2006 third quarter results reflect the challenging overall interactive entertainment market which was particularly difficult in North America.”

During the quarter, MCZ was successful in Europe, growing its revenue as well as expanding its corporate footprint, which the company believes, will support future growth.

“Real World Golf” distributed by MCZ in Europe, emerged in the fiscal third quarter as a top five PS2 title in the UK and remained in the top 20 during the holiday period. Given this success, MCZ plans on introducing this title to the North American market this spring/summer.

“On an overall basis we are pleased with our success-to-date to expand and diversify fiscal 2006 revenue. While down from last year’s record levels, net sales during the first nine months of fiscal 2006 reflect the expansion in the European market and contributions from licensed product offerings and niche software,” added Richardson.

In the coming months, MCZ expects to launch several promising new products. Real World Golf for the Xbox will be the first title MCZ publishes for the console under their recent license with Microsoft.

Mets, what you have posted is a nearly complete Peter Leeds report.....Leeds dosen't tolerate that being done....He does monitor the boards.

When I post a Leeds pick ? Many times it matches a stock I may already own, have owned in the past, or have in my inventory of stocks I monitor..

I have also bought Leeds picks in the blind, on a first glance basis. Results have been mixed at best.

However! To the best of my recollection I always state it's a leeds pick, or mention, a Wall Street big shot like's it. Some time back after consulting with an old wall street manager about posting a leeds pick he advised me that as long as I didn't copy a leeds report and target price, their would no problem posting it or giving the pick to someone else to post...Heck we do that sorta thing all the time..But atleast give a heads-up where the pick came from.

Posting the verbatum Leeds words is a NO NO in the Leeds agreememt, as is posting the price target..If! you are a member.

I think Leeds may have enemies on wall street, because he appears to try and play it straight..Who knows! maybe he really is a straight shooter...
