China Direct Trading Corp. Poised to Supply Roof Tiles from China to Hurricane-Hit States

DAVIE, Fla., Sept. 9, 2005, Sep 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- China Direct Trading Corporation's (CHDT) wholly owned subsidiary, China Pathfinder Fund (CPF), has contacted numerous roofing factories in China and is poised to take orders for retailers, roofing distributors, and roofers for immediate shipment of roof tiles. CPF believes the demand for roofing materials in the hurricane-affected areas will be great, as roofs are one of the first parts of a home that need repair, especially in minor damage situations. The company will offer tiles in red, blue, green, brown, and gray, and can ship goods within 20 days.
Recently, due to the U.S. housing boom, roof tile prices have escalated as developers nationwide have created excessive demand resulting in a squeeze on supply. Many smaller roofing companies in Florida have had to scramble for supply over the past year, under normal business conditions. CPF believes that with the current situation in the hurricane-affected areas, supplies of roof tiles will become scarcer and the company will look to China to fill in this need.
